What kind of a computer where you running to do this? I'm assuming the jumpiness and pop with the brushes is because the video is sped up. I'd like to paint in Illustrator but my experiences with it on my old laptop were unsatisfying because of how sluggishly it ran.
Very cool, do you know if its possible to use .abr Photoshop CS4 brushes and convert them some how to Illustrator CS4? I use Ps frequently, but i love the crisp lines in Ai that i can use with my Wacom, but the brushes are crazy to understand in Ai. Any suggestions?

No. You have to make them from scratch or use patterns to get the desired effect.
