and what as an African American I should vote for someone who views me as inferior or worst as the enemy? Now that would make me Stupid, and BTW I am one who sides with Palestinians not Israel
Who di heck is dat fool talking to Ron Paul?? That indian dude? What is he talking about...what country? Coz, he obviously dont know nothin about the history of the federal reserve
RON PAUL, please join Ralph Nader as his VP. Nader is on the ballot in 45 states. It's our only hope. Ideally Ron Paul would be at the top of the ticket but shit happens. Whatever it takes, make it happen.
@amajetich. Yep ... dollars (pounds) were reciepts and you could go and cash them in. In australia you had to take them to the Head Office (sydney) of the Commonweath Bank of Australia and they would pay you in gold.
The presidency is Constitutional and legal, the fed is not. The president can be thrown out by impeachment. The fed reserve has no accountability to the taxpayers when they cause the problems!
Analogy: If you have a splinter, you don't just take an aspirin (bailout) for the pain. You dig it out before it gets infected, even though it is painful at the time. Rep. Paul is one of the only congressmen talking about what the 'splinter' really is (our unconstitutional deficit spending, national debt and monetary policy). The media always asks: 'HOW CAN CONGRESS FIX THIS?' Answer: for starters, voters should require their congressmen to vote only for legislation that is constitutional!
How in the hell can this fool Shakir analogize something legal like the presidency and something illegal as the Federal reserve and expect us to take him seriously. What a tool!
People who want to try to put power into a system rather than in the hands of the individual are usually weak and afraid of responsibility. Dr Paul was right on everything. End the fed now!
Unfortunately, I don't think it would do me any good talking to my congressman about HR 2755 IH. He's already been bought by Wall Street. He voted "AYE" on the bailout plan.
why all of these supposed well versed, masters and degrees achievers seem to always miss some important aspect of their educations is beyond me.UNLESS they've got a monetary interest to oppose outside entities shedding light on their bosses. the devil's doin' good business with these types. suckers.
If only McCaine and Obama would talk this way, more people would trust them, but they are just puppets of the failed Federal reserve system it showed in the debates, they have no answers for our failed economy, just bullshit and empty words. Ron Paul has started to have a effect on some of the politicians, I am starting to hear his words coming from some of there lips, it's a start, and it will only snow ball in the years ahead as the world's economy goes down the tubes.
Evil prevades all except where Ron Paul is concerned. Ron Paul was the last glimmer of light for the real 'apple pie America' the world wants to believe, I do to.
I've come to save my brother and sister and wipe away the Ill'-U-Me-Itis' (illuminatis) What the f- illuminating have they done? Alot of blood been drank but no illuminating. These people that make your cell-phones do you think they will ever try to educate a child or empower a homless person? They are ZOG-BOTS.
Funny how they are trying to make Ron Paul look like an idiot because he wants to get rid of the federal reserve and go back to the gold standard, when its the right thing to do in all ways. They are trying to use their voice tones of sarcasm to get the sheeple who watch mainstream media to automatically agree with them without thinking. If Ron Paul does get in any position of real influence, attempts on his life will likely be made by the corrupt ones benefitting from this "government"
Ron chose to run as a Republican rather than a Libertarian this time. Ironically, the mojority of voters are independent. He would have had a real chance. The only problem is that was have a locked in two party system. The last Libertarian candidate to be on the ballot in all 50 states(Badnarik) was arrested when going to the Presidential debates. We don't allow third party's folks. Choice is an illusion. It's almost time to start over.
It's too bad Ron Paul didn't have the momentum to be a real part of the election for the November vote. It's obvious he's intelligent and has some credible ideas. Perhaps the new administration will tap into his abilities and we can all benefit.
Paul had GREAT momentum, but it was coming from the grass roots underground, and hadn't grown to where he could procure the nomination. ***Plus he sought the nomination of a vociferously pro war party as a vociferously ANTI war candidate. He was always way MORE popular OUTSIDE the GOP.
If Paul had broken 3rd Party and STAYED in the race, we'd be seeing a MASS populist groundswell of support for him happening RIGHT NOW (once out of the GOP dungeon).
But what you don't see is that there is something far left about him as well, and THAT is the genius. He is libertarian NOT totalitarian. Total OPPOSITES. Why do you think so many leftward independent types support him? Notice that he is in unison on SO many key issues with people referred to as "far left" like Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader. Case and point: The financial bailout. Foreign policy. The War. Civil Liberties. BOTH agree 100% with Paul here.
One of the institutions in charge of regulation the CRA and the mortgage companies was the FED, and they didn't do sh!t because they knew the only market that was making any money was the housing market. They wanted to keep it alive until somebody in power had the mental capacity to understand the need for investement in new technological development like Bio-tech and renewable energy, because that would be REAL growth, just like the IT-market.
INFLATION IS THE PROBLEM, hello America have we lost our collective minds?? Seriously does history truly need to repeat itself, Shumer started the failure through panic like Morgan Stanley in 29. Its called addiction and psycho political warfare, its communism, America is an illusion based upon intangible dreams..we are in a depression not a recession plus our media is fanning the flames that how communism works focus on centralized control, read my free book neoonedotorg
FED doesnt encourage saving because its not best for the banks. they are greedy. They want to create money and collect interest on it. with savings, they need to pay depositors interest. Once you look at it that way, it all makes sense. FED represents the banking cartels, not us.
If you watch money masters you'll learn that the people who began the Fed were the ones who divised the Gold Standard. If Gold is our currency value international bankers will still profit. We need a congress who can print money based on tarriff intakes and high income taxes.
Ron Paul has been saying this for many years. Nobody listened to him because they thought he was crazy and now we have a $700 billion dollar mortgage fiasco.
The source of our problem is we're being loaned money from private bankers who rape the nation. The problem is the private banking system masking itself as a "federal" arm of the government.
Push your local church and community groups to rally against the federal reserve system. Get your churches and community groups to speak with local politicians about the FED.
Ron Paul schools again, especially about the Great Depression. The fed was created 16 years before the Great Depression, long enough to screw things up.
You know when their laughing at Ron Paul, they're uncomfortable hearing the truth.
How could you say the system is good it's just some decisions that can be criticized - the Fed are not elected officials! Those decisions ARE the system!
wow. that guy is RIDICULOUS! "The President has made alot of bad decisions, should we get rid of the presidency?" wow....that comment was complete bull shit.
The way you get rid of a bad Pres. is called impeachment. Plus the fed isn't elected, the pres. is. I agree with you. I also thinks he doesn't know history very well. The fed was created 16 years before the Great Depression, long enough to screw things up!
the system IS wrong it is a specific fault Ron Paul should have slapped him with it. he did not but he still easily made the guy look non-credible , kudos to the other guy for tying though.
Just wanted to say that I'm a Democrat and I'm totally for getting rid of the Federal Reserve! It's going to take both Democrats and Republicans to get rid of the Fed. We should all be behind this! No more devaluing our money!
ron paul is so right! this muppet who works for the bank is saying its ok for private banks to counterfit our earned money & loan it back to us at interest.the money they counterfit is called inflation because it devalues all the earned money. evrytime they print new money from nothing they devalue the currency & rob the workers of billions. its a secret tax. abolish central banking & fractional reserve banking.
I thought the Fed admitted the great depression was a mistake on their part. They weren't supplying banks with enough liquidity which is basically opposite from the current situation.
Instability came from loaning out beyond their means. The government didn't understand this, and instead of fixing it through the constitution (no counterfeiting), they created a monster which did the SAME thing to fluctuate the economy as they please.
It is amazing that this idiot considers a system whereby one class of people stealing from another shouldn't change because "it has worked". People "panicked" because the central system was based on fraudulent money. Just wait folks, MV=PQ, but 2/3 of M is used overseas because we are the world reserve currency. Once it is back in the US, what happens to P (inflation)?
We had bank runs in the early 1900s because the government legalized fractional reserves, the fraudulent precurser to the federal reserve system. Bank runs are IMPOSSIBLE if the gold reserves are equal to the demand notes in circulation. RON PAUL is, as always, correct. The other guy is a moron. Even Milton Freidman, the father of modern monetary policy, was working with a system he regarded as corrupt.
The gold standard would destroy our current failing fairy tale economy. How can a market be stable with trillions in debt? Something must change or we'll continue this same system of failure.
Nader said it: We here on the Internet ARE the NEW Main Stream Media. We are the replacement to the lies. YouTube and Google MUST be made to understand the 2 party system is dead and everyone hopes it rots in hell.
I wish people would learn to take a Joke. I also wish the crazy conspiracy theorist would stop trying to tie their name to Ron Paul
Amen! thank god im not the only one out there saying this! You conspiracy nutjobs are one of the main reasons Dr. Paul is not taken seriously! GO AWAY!!
"I wish people would learn to take a Joke. I also wish the crazy conspiracy theorist would stop trying to tie their name to Ron Paul
Amen! thank god im not the only one out there saying this! You conspiracy nutjobs are one of the main reasons Dr. Paul is not taken seriously! GO AWAY!!"
So true. The fact of the matter is that it's even worse that being supported by corporate greed and asshole pundits. It's a sad truth, but that's just how the world work it seems.
You are so right. I'm tired just like you are of all these conspiracy nutjobs tying their name and cause to Ron Paul. These people have a right to voice their opinions, but I don't think they realize how much they hurt, discredit and do damage to Ron Paul, and prevent more people from listening to him.
And the media laps it up and makes it look like all of us are conspiracy kooks. In my local meetup group very FEW fit this profile. Most were everyday people. A LOT of Iraq war veterans.
How stupid that Fazzi guy is to bring up the Great Depression. That happened after the gold standard was abolished. Ron chewed his nuts off - watch the guy's face - it's priceless.
All good saying that but you need reasons. Anyone with a knowledge of economic history, both US and Global and knowledge of economic theory will like me will agree with Ron Paul. Everything he says in this is right, both historically and in theory. You cannot counter his arguements. Ron Paul schooled the guy like no tomorrow.
That guy is SUCH an idiot.. Paul makes the case that the FED is Unconstitutional, so yes we should throw it out... The Presidency IS constitutional. What a dope.
Ron is right he wants every dollar to be worth a value in gold or silver. Not gold or silver coins. Right now it is just paper. And the FED prints it out of thin air.
Haha doucebag Sha-queer! Fuk-tart just like every damn government enthralled idiots out there. Ron practically busted Sha-queer's ego during his explaination of the direct cause of the Great Depression as a result from the FED's manipulating the bank..., you can practically see him feel like shit when it happened haha. Hoo-rah for Ron! Ayyyy!
Ron Paul is right as usual, but Faz made some valid points.
I guess it comes down to whether you believe it's worth it to intervene in the economy to solve relatively minor problems when you know as soon as you do so you create the potential for even bigger problems.
You never see Ron Paul interrupt someone when they are debating him, he gives them courtesy and respect. You rarely get that type of debate on the news anymore.
interruption is displaying your underlying insecurity about the stance you make. If you are truly confident in your stance you don't interrupt, you wait patiently
It makes no difference people are too stupid to see the forest through the trees. Then you have 1 guy, weak looking with no charisma tell it like it is...it's almost totally worthless. This country is FACKED.
If you form opinions about politicians based on their looks and charisma, I suppose you'd support a Palin/Obama ticket. Your comment is what's worthless, much like the American dollar as Dr. Paul explained.
if i am going to continue to call my self an american then ron paul is my president, whether it is accepted by the system or not. i cant support this shit any longer
wish paul had more time to eduacate that young fella...like he has me and so many other americans. we've traveled so far from the truth we cant even see it anymore. we are in serious serious serious serious trouble

Ron Paul had just endorsed Chuck Baldwin for President on the Campaign for Liberty site.

ron paul is so right! this muppet who works for the bank is saying its ok for private banks to counterfit our earned money & loan it back to us at interest.the money they counterfit is called inflation because it devalues all the earned money. evrytime they print new money from nothing they devalue the currency & rob the workers of billions. its a secret tax. abolish central banking & fractional reserve banking.
kingneddy 3 years ago 3
Wow.. Paul won that one easy.
petepamf 3 years ago 2
Everytime I agrue with a Fed supporter they use the same weak ass rhetoric that Faiz used. Faiz must be an internet troll.
Geschmolzen 3 years ago
was just saying he won that one..
oh you meant to reply to the guy above me..
petepamf 3 years ago
I was just agreeing with you, sometimes Even when I agree with someone I sound like I'm ranting.
Geschmolzen 3 years ago
The fella above me mentioned Faiz Shakir which led me to think your comment was for him..
Rant away.. Society is a failure, I couldn't give a fuck.
petepamf 3 years ago
Is this Faiz Shakir all they've got?
This illustrates that they're not capable to execute an interview properly ... let alone regulate our economy.
warrencurrier 3 years ago
I feel sorry for this guy. He tried his best. It is difficult to defend the Fed when Ron Paul is right.
jesuscheung 3 years ago 2
Shakir,.. you are pretty stupid man.
sikurzu 3 years ago 2
I wonder,do they have to work really really hard to find people THAT stupid to argue against Ron Paul, it must be amazingly hard job.
Seriously just dress up a monkey in a suit next time and have him grunt on cue.

faz your an idiot. keep up the truth Mr. Paul

I thought the Fed admitted the great depression was a mistake on their part. They weren't supplying banks with enough liquidity which is basically opposite from the current situation.
EzraTTT 3 years ago
You can't compare abolishing the presidency to abolishing the fed.
mocthezuma 3 years ago 3
oops, somebody already said this before me...
PairoftheSocks 3 years ago
Instability came from loaning out beyond their means. The government didn't understand this, and instead of fixing it through the constitution (no counterfeiting), they created a monster which did the SAME thing to fluctuate the economy as they please.
PairoftheSocks 3 years ago
It is amazing that this idiot considers a system whereby one class of people stealing from another shouldn't change because "it has worked". People "panicked" because the central system was based on fraudulent money. Just wait folks, MV=PQ, but 2/3 of M is used overseas because we are the world reserve currency. Once it is back in the US, what happens to P (inflation)?
VINNYMOR 3 years ago 2
We had bank runs in the early 1900s because the government legalized fractional reserves, the fraudulent precurser to the federal reserve system. Bank runs are IMPOSSIBLE if the gold reserves are equal to the demand notes in circulation. RON PAUL is, as always, correct. The other guy is a moron. Even Milton Freidman, the father of modern monetary policy, was working with a system he regarded as corrupt.
VINNYMOR 3 years ago 3
Not much into politics but everytime i hear Ron Paul speak he seems to be the only guy that makes sense.

Honestly he's too smart to be a politician.

The gold standard would destroy our current failing fairy tale economy. How can a market be stable with trillions in debt? Something must change or we'll continue this same system of failure.
eekdog2005 3 years ago 2
This guy is way out of his league talking to Ron Paul.

Nader said it: We here on the Internet ARE the NEW Main Stream Media. We are the replacement to the lies. YouTube and Google MUST be made to understand the 2 party system is dead and everyone hopes it rots in hell.

However, one issue not addressed here is if the currency went back to the gold standard, is the social implications of it.
ChineseKiwi 3 years ago
And the social implications of continuing down this path?

If Ron Paul is so smart why he have 2 first names?

So true. The fact of the matter is that it's even worse that being supported by corporate greed and asshole pundits. It's a sad truth, but that's just how the world work it seems.

Visfen:

Ron chewed his nuts off - watch the guy's face - it's priceless.
spamsink6 3 years ago 6
gold standard would destroy the economic system.
ragg4hjah 3 years ago
All good saying that but you need reasons. Anyone with a knowledge of economic history, both US and Global and knowledge of economic theory will like me will agree with Ron Paul. Everything he says in this is right, both historically and in theory. You cannot counter his arguements. Ron Paul schooled the guy like no tomorrow.

Ayyyy!
VERSA86 3 years ago 3
Ron Paul is right as usual, but Faz made some valid points.
I guess it comes down to whether you believe it's worth it to intervene in the economy to solve relatively minor problems when you know as soon as you do so you create the potential for even bigger problems.
squeezetruck 3 years ago
You never see Ron Paul interrupt someone when they are debating him, he gives them courtesy and respect. You rarely get that type of debate on the news anymore.
A1steaksauce1 3 years ago 7
interruption is displaying your underlying insecurity about the stance you make. If you are truly confident in your stance you don't interrupt, you wait patiently

I hope I never meet that guy. I would hook his ass with a serious left hook. For Liberty.
WTF!!!
Now I know that center for american progress is yet another organization to NOT support. Seriously, do they think we are this fucking stupid.

It makes no difference people are too stupid to see the forest through the trees. Then you have 1 guy, weak looking with no charisma tell it like it is...it's almost totally worthless. This country is FACKED.
yipcarl 3 years ago
If you form opinions about politicians based on their looks and charisma, I suppose you'd support a Palin/Obama ticket. Your comment is what's worthless, much like the American dollar as Dr. Paul explained.
