Das none online explains the basic workings of these flutes online, i was wondering if you could do this for instance what creates the noise is one end of the flute blocked all the basic stuff you get me :)

what kind of finish do you use on the outside of your flutes? they always shine so nice in the vids

I use tung oil, it kinda seals the finish and adds a satin sheen too. Other flutemakers have told me they use beeswax and other things also...

The craftsmanship is fantastic. I thought this might be difficult to play, but I got someone who is not musical to try this and they played it more or less straight off. What an impressive tone.
