So likely when people get stuff like this from whatever exercise, it's probably because too much was done too fast, or there wasn't proper recovery (massage, sleep, nutrition, etc).

That's all the motivation I need to beat the living sh!t out of it every day for at least one hour. Irreverent humor aside, think of someone you really hate & train like you have 30 days to fight him in a life and death match. Put photos of martial arts masters on the wall for inspiration. Use specific music. Create a training schedule & stick to it. Have a friend train with you.
To train for the fingers handstand push up against the wall. First of all you gotta have a good core. Be able to do fingers push ups with your thumbs and index from 10 to 20 push ups. Then you put yourself in a handstand position against the wall using all ten finger tips and try to do a few handstand push ups using your fingers...then when your fingers get stronger, you do the same thing but each time take one finger each hand away start from your baby fingers, then ring fingers then middle...

Christ dude how many can you do off your pinkies? I could only get 3. The rest weren't hard (21 years martial arts training). But the pinkies man, that's impressive. Ringfingers are easy on me 'cause I use Water Grip on katanas and Odachi so they're strong as hell.

what proof you want i dont exercise this exercise and are in spite of that abale to do them easly 50 times. more difficult is to do pushups without using thumb on two finger that takes 3 weeks training and i can do it also but that all that is just a show not real fighting skills.
dude your bluffing and strenghtening the fingers is good 4 martial arts. Finger jabs, punches, pressure points, grabbing etc... i think for fighting sports its not that special becouse you use gloves. sorry 4 the bad english :D haha

If your big you could knock somebody down easy and you could be in a advantage in ground fighting etc..
If your lean you could use your speed and tecnique to knock down a bigger person.
for example a big guy attacks you and you kick him in the groin, fingerjab him, are if he grabs hold you, you use pressure point so he lets go and you finish him.
That was cool! Can you try the same thing on the floor as well? You need some practice with it, but your fingers seem to be strong enough, you can do it pretty easily.

If your talking about fighting, as it is, with no rules.
You must train every part of your body.
There are no rules and there is no style you have to expact everything and use everything that is possible as a weapon.
And yes even your fingers.
If your training for pure strenght you don't have to have a lot of mass it depends on how you train, eat, cardio etc..
Yep he is lean but a bigger man doesn't have to win on the street.
Being big are small has is disadvantage and advantages.
