Tony Micale has said many times on stage ( have seen The Reflections for years throughtout the summers in Metro/Detroit ) that they never made or saw a dime from this monsterous hit. Not from any sales nor not one dime ever in Royalties.

And that is a damn shame. This is still a hell of a song and Micale can still sing it as if in his prime. So can Joey Finazzo whose been with them since 1978.
