Well, coming from the Mom's side of view, I would freak if one of my son's came home with tatt. As your firend though, I think that it is a beautiful tribute to your great-grandmother. And I think that it was very wise for you to put it in a place where you can cover it when you need to. Nice tatt. I think your Mom will get over it. You might be surprised. She probably will secretly like it. But most likely she won't tell you that.
