  • Nice film work! :P

  • i want a cham like that

  • nice video man, very professional :)

  • GORGEOUS.

it's like some Discovery channel shot. :)

  • Fascinating Specimen

  • That grass hopper is far to big for the cham :( the food can't be bigger than the space between the eyes. But other wise good video. My chameleon loves grass hoppers. Oh and the whole handling thing i think every cham is different, mine loves to be out, she likes nothing more than to sit on my head while im getting dressed. The only time she gets stressed and hisses is when im spraying her viv.

  • what size is chameleon?

  • pwned!

  • this is awesome!

  • CINEMATIC MOMENT!!!!

  • do chameleons like to be handled?

  • no, they are not very social animals so they do not like to be handled a lot,but if you get him when it is a baby and you handle it a lot it might get used to being handled.

  • @cnugget203 the simple answer is, no.

the long answer is no, typically they dont but some have been known to tolerate it better than others..if handling is a must be sure not to grab it, let it walk on you. veils are easily stressed and should not be handled more than absolutely necessary!

  • this is the first good quality chameleon video ive seen. good job. i wish more people knew how to use a camera.

  • @fpjallday its not that they dont know how, its the type of camera, some have good quality some don't.

  • My chameleon ate a fly that accedently wet in her cage, but i didnt know chameleons could eat a locust!!!!!!! 0.0

  • Locusts are the main feeder for my Chameleon. I try to get as much variety as possible but Locusts are his favourite, reasonably healthy feeder that I can easily obtain in the UK.

  • @HairyScaryMark My chameleon died 2 months ago sadly :(

  • @bessiexj9 why? from old age or illness?

  • @switcheezy illness, she had a upper respitory infection and she died. We did all we could to help her. :(

  • @bessiexj9 my condolences.

  • karma karma karma chameleon

  • Beautiful chameleon. I'm getting a veiled in a couple days.

  • The spines on the legs don't hurt the lizard?

  • Doesn't look like it lol

  • No. They are not solid, or sharp at all.

Wings however are generally not that easily digested so when the Locusts molt and grow proper wings, they don't make as good feeders. They are also generally too big for most Vieled Chameleons by that point.

  • that's a gorgeous veiled chameleon

  • amazing !!!!!!!!!

  • yeah, i'd love to tickle your girlfriends charmeleon

  • Great angles

  • lol, funniest animal ever!

  • Definitely not he locust's opinion.

  • thats so badass, this looks like its in your house, so i wanna know where do you go to get a cameleon as a pet?

  • reptile stores..

  • any place u get any other reptile. breeder is prefered tho since reptile stores keep their chameleons in bad condition usually unless they specialize in reptiles. make sure you know what your doing cus chameleons are probably one of the hardest lizards to keep. deffinatly for experienced owners

  • how do you mean hazardous

  • what how the stores keep them? they usually keep them in glass elclosures (which can kill them due to bad air circulation), they keep them in to small of a enclosure. theres just a bunch of stuff chain reptile stores like petco and pet smart really keep their reptiles in bad condition

  • Yummy!

  • so im going to get a chameleon in a few months so i need to know this question what do they eat?

  • lol that was awesome

  • BECARFUL! always cut the back legs of a locust they can hard your chameleon's tongue dont take risks :]

  • They are designed to eat those things. I'm sure it's fine. Everyone tells me not to feed my snake live food...but she's never had a problem. Gets 'em every time!

  • i just fed my cham an anole

  • D: poor anole! i wonder if they r tasty O_O

  • beautiful cham

  • they can stretch their tongue to their own body length...its scary...

  • yeah. note the duller pattern and shorter head crest

  • thats one hell of a girl!

  • best short video everrrrrrrrrrr!

  • are you talking about a bearded dragon? No chameleon shows stress like that...

  • jim you are an idiot lol. when they get pissed they will puff up, and will turn dark colors all around. thats just stretched skin

  • thats what I call a meal!

  • I love reptile girls.

  • I've been keeping chameleons since I was 10. I'm now 37. So yes, mate, I do know about chameleons. And I have one of these in a vivarium right now. And when a veiled cham is stressed out, you see a whole lot more than "them black and while lines under its mouth." They go bright yellow and black all over.

  • Jimzodagangsta: No, "them black and white lines under its mouth" do not mean this chameleon is stressed out. They mean she's got a mouth full of locust.

  • chameleons are awesome! ;]

  • That was a great angle to film that feeding! It made the chameleon look more threatening and tough, even though he's the cutest thing ever!

  • nice
