I have this&i used to use it for my MAC to back up all my pics/music but got rid of my mac&now have a pc/windows but when i plug it in it shows its plugged in but won't let me pull it up to be able to move all my usic/pics on it to my new windows pc help me pleeease!!!

i have a WD My Passport hard drive and I accidentially dropped it today. All the data from both partitions (Mac/PC) is completely gone and that was my work for the whole first semester(I study graphic design). Is there a LaCie Rugged with 250gb disk space? I'm thinking of getting two of those.

@Ubichev LaCie can take a hit by a car... and if it does break, their data recovery is free for life for that machine! Although most of their products only have a replacement warranty for a year. I had one that stopped working (got wet) and they transfered all the information to a new one for free, only paid for the price of the new model since mine was over a year old. Great experience just for that recover factor, that alone was worth more then the machine!

Nice...I wish they made more hard drives with eSATA options though. I can't buy a whole new laptop for USB 3 and Firewire isn't as fast. Plus USB/eSATA ports (powered eSATA) don't require external power sources, so just one cable which is nice.
