Awesome song! I was 13 or 14 when this came out on cassette (great music for my good ol' Sony walkman). Warrant had quite a few great songs. The 80's metal bands in general made some wicked music indeed!!! I've been perusing alot of music from this genre (that I used to listen to) and am glad to see so many ppl from the generations behind me are enjoying it too... Holy Shite, where'd the time go?
I feel real sorry for Jani Lane he wrote and sang so many great songs and yet the one song he will always be known for is Cherry Pie. He had so many better songs than that, Heaven,Down Boys,I Saw Red,Train Train,Sometimes She Cries, and Uncle Tom's Cabin and Mr. Rainmaker. those songs are so much better than Cherry pie especially the versions of Heaven and I Saw Red from the Metal Mania Stripped series.
Saw Warrant Friday night, at the Galaxy, in Santa Ana, California. Kicked ass. It's a shame these bands get referred to as "hair metal," because that is such a derogatory term. This music is far superior than anything being crapped out nowadays.
I think this album is easily Warrants best..Ironic that this album was their last mainstream hit..and it wasn't nearly as large as their previous attempts.
