  • gotta say ... the hat. -- really takes the cake.

eh, p'tit gar, cette casquette, c'est vraiment autre chose...

aussi l'harmonica: c'est pas bette en plus.

  • hey man i think your video camaras fucked

  • @liecron no, don't worry it's a fucking video filter I added.

  • @alliax It's called being the fucking MAN.

  • The songwriters also composed two TV show theme songs: "Happy Days (These Days Are Ours)" for "Happy Days" (1974-1984) and "Making Our Dreams Come True" for "Laverne & Shirley" (1976-1983).

Charles Fox also wrote, with lyrics by Paul Williams, the "Love Boat" (1977-1986) theme song.

  • very good but was the stupid headgear all about

  • @howardsway01 thanks but the headgear is all about nothing. There's no point mentionning it.

  • @alliax If you dont wont it mentioned why wear it what a dick

  • @howardsway01 I'm talking about myself, there's no point in mentioning it in explaining it since there's no explanation to be given seriously even if I try I can't find any reason at all!

  • @howardsway

just an idiot trynig to find a mistake in the video.

    nicely sound #alliax

  • I thought this was going to suck as soon as I saw your face but it was actually very good. What is up with the underwear on your head?

  • @texasbiker2006 Haha, thank you, I guess the saying don't judge a book by its cover is true afterall :-) On my head there is a dress, not an underwear. There is nothing up with it, I just put things on my head, and I change often, so I cannot put always proper headwear because I don't have that many hats :-)

  • cool!!!

  • wow its just bring tears to my eyes

  • @rere6c haha, don't cry, be happy :-)

  • omg dude you are awsom

  • very good very soft sound i loved it

  • @richardperth2002 I also like the sound of the hohner chrometta

  • good job dude

  • You are crayz!! Like it! !!!

  • this can be fullplayed with a diatonic :S?

  • @altuslupus I believe anything can be played on a diatonic with the right skills. But in my opinion the right skills are much more difficult to get, too much work for my taste, I picked up harmonica playing because I thought it was easy and I wanted to play melodies quickly. It turned out it wasn't that easy afterall, but on diatonic it's worse :-)

  • @alliax hey excuse me again hehe but i have another question. I have a diatonic in E, but i feel like the last tunes are so tight and since a buy it it's a little harder to play the 8,9 and 10. This is normal?

  • @altuslupus hi, i don't know about diatonics.

  • Beatiful, congratulations body!!!! 5 ***** @@

  • Whar a nice hat, but not as nice as your playing ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Now, I'me no expert !, but, I think the problem with your timeing, is just that you play some, but not all, of the note's, too short. You need to stay a touch longer with them. This is from a complete novice in music, It's just my opinion. Even so though, very nice playing......Geoff.

  • @kfotoprm Thank you for your advice, it's true that I don't know the real music that well, so I just played it like I felt it, but didn't spend too much time on it, it's just a short video.

  • very alternative. you, your harmonica...and your hair too

  • You play excellent music. btw is it something wrong for your hair?

  • hi alliax now 75 I just found your graet cromatic themas again!my old friend larry adler and thielemans and my ex teacher antonio serrano are or

been the best professionals I ever heard.but from the non professionals you are for me the best.

greetings from tenerife canarias and from natal brasil jim alias pupimaxi

  • @pupimaxi Hello thank you again Jim for your cds you've sent me. Nice music. As you can see I haven't uploaded videos in a long while, but I will do it again because I am back in France and have several months in front of me before I leave again, so I might as well occupy my time with playing the harmonica :-) Bye

  • Sorry for commenting this, but can you add a teaching video to your Videos?. Would epriciate it.

  • you play so good, but when i see that hat in your hed i dont know why, but i was so scary

excuse for my english, im from colombia

  • perfect again

  • perfect

  • Nice job, you play well. Yet you are always a notch in front of your rhythm track. You should relax into the beat - you are consistantly ahead of it. Plus you accelerate your time relative to your own phrases. Try clapping to every other beat on a metronome and try hard to get just one sound, not a double clap/tick that are separated by a small amount of time.

Also, you may not have noticed, but there's a pair of boxers on your head - how embarrassing for you that they're in this video.

  • Hello, thanks for your comment, I'm afraid I'm not advanced enough to be able to feel what you're telling me, I don't see where I was in front of the rythm track, I just felt like playing it that way. Surely I could improve on it but I just don't put enough time on training on the harmonica, like this song for example, I never played it again since I recorded it on video, and before that I never played it except less than one hour before recording the video, hence the issue.

  • thanks for taking my comments well. It's not how many times you've played this song - your time isn't "in the pocket". It'd be one thing if you changed up some phrases here and there, but you're ahead throughout. you and the track are not gelling, or together, or in sync.

try the metronome - strive for the tick of the metronome and your hand clap to line up and sound as one: not separated. Normal tendency is to be ahead (rush the beat), you'd hear your clap just barely in front of the tick.

  • Could you please listen to a few other of my videos just to tell me if this problem you hear is happening all the time ? Because if it is the case, then I'm totally unaware of it, I don't have enough musical ear to be able to tell. Maybe it is just for this particular video, no?

  • I checked out 4 other videos, the issue is the same on all. I'm sure it's frustrating to be told, but you seem willing to listen and get better. Try tapping your finger to a song that has a drum rim click or woodblock or something and listen really close to see if you can make your tap & that click absolutely line up - it's really hard to do but it'll make you better. it's why the best artists are great: they have a great sense of time.

keep at it. good luck to you....

  • A lot of people subdivide in their heads while they're playing: if they're playing quarter notes or eight notes they'll mentally have 16th notes running in the back of their mind.

You could try the tapping thing with the rhythm track you used on this song - one way to increase your awareness is tap your finger on a tabletop and listen for when you line up with the click sound and when you don't. Once you start hearing that, you're on your way to locking in with the beat better......

  • Also, these are not boxers, it's a skirt, so everything is fine! :-)

  • oh well, if it's a skirt I guess that's completely fine then. :)

  • Good playing, yes but...

why the fuck are you wearing shorts on your head!?

  • Keep the great work, Greetings From Canada, Vancouver.

  • very romantic....

  • Keep the good work, really good.

  • nice jobs, i am learning by you and notes,,, keep on posting,,,,

  • How long you have playing harmonica? i started about 8 weeks ago... i have learning a lot of your videos =) what do you thing about BluesMaster MR-250 made by suzuki?

  • Hello, I've been playing on and off for about 10 years. I think nothing of your harmonica because I don't know how to play diatonic harmonica. Mine is a chromatic harmonica and I have only tested a few of them.

  • AMAZING!!!

  • spoko spoko.. ale co on ma na głowie??

  • I really love this tune. It reminds me of highschool..I'm giving away my age!

    You play it perfectly!

  • nice !!MMMmmm like it

  • Thank pail I really like it. I will by a Harmonika and learn to play to.

  • 2. I'm planning to buy a Chromatic Harmonica, but I'm not sure because I've heard that its very expensive and difficult to play. It will be a great help if you can kindly guide me a little.. Should I try to buy a chromatic one and learn to play it ? Is it very diffcult and expensive ?

Kindly guide me and thanks again for the reply..

  • very expensive is not true, if you don't have enough money to live then don't buy anything.. No seriously, a diatonic harmonica would be about 30$ and a chromatic with 12 holes would be about 100-150$ so that's only 3-5 times more, but you only need one chromatic, no need to buy harmonicas in different keys.

About the difficulty, it depends, I think both harmonica are difficult to play but for different reasons.

  • It depends the sound you want, if you like blues, and if you plan on playing with a guitar, then of course the diatonic is for you and you have very little choice over this.

  • Hi there !

Thank you so much for the reply... I'm just a beginner and I dont know much about bending and other advanced techniques (though I'm trying to learn them..)

Anyways, just wanted to request for you guidance and advice on the following, it will be a great help if you can kindly take time and answer them for me...

    1. Can I still play the song in the key of C on my C Diatonic Harmonica ? I mean is it technically possible ?

  • I don't know the answer to your question, you'd have to ask this to one of the youtubers who know diatonic harmonica. Send them my video and ask them if it's possible for a beginner to play it with a diatonic harmonica in C and with little bending technics.

  • Hi there !

Wow, you play Great ! I've become a big fan of yours ! I only have a Diatonic C Harmonica...just wanted to request you to kindly let me know if I can play this song on a diatonic harmonica ? Wow ! It will be a dream come true for me :)

Anyways great playing, friend ! Thanks for the beautiful playing :)

  • Hello, I don't know the diatonic well enough to answer, but I know what a diatonic fanatic would answer: that all notes can be played on asingle diatonic once you master the note bending to perfection. Perfecting the note bending takes quite a lot of practise time, that's why I play the chromatic after beginning with a diatonic harmonica like everyone else! :-)

  • boy u can play

  • May I ask were you found that playback ? =) Very nice cover by the way =)

  • hello, from memory that playback is played by the software BAND IN A BOX. I'm not sure if it came from a midi file or an original band in a box file.

  • Hey, I've never seen a harmonica like that, what kind of harmonica is it?

  • Hello, it's a chromatic harmonica. The exact of the model is Chrometta 14 in C from Hohner

  • lol haha man you are the zhit!!!!

    You're a beast.

  • Very cool bro.Awesome for a Hobby.

  • WOW thats good!!! Think you can teach me to do that with paper clips....???? 5 out of 5

  • a little off beat at times, but i get the drift. good job

  • very good

    really

can you pass me the Tablatura?

i don´t if is this way that tell this word in inglis (Tablaturas) if you don´t understand this tell me that i go to to search wath can be

  • omg that was really good!!! 4 real!!

  • Tempo is slow. You need a lot of practice. If you want to make a career or something, then why not try the diatonic? If it's a hobby, then well and good; keep it up.

  • Thanks, I don't want to try the diatonic anymore because of the need to bend the notes, I much prefer the chromatic's ease of use and yes it's only a hobby.

  • Really nice! You did a great job. Keep on playing...

  • That was real good. I took a harmonica class and I can't play very well...too hard for me. Keep practicing. The chicks like it.

  • Salut alliax, je preferer le tissu-eponge!.
