As I have stated on a couple of your other vids....I am cherry on this whole subject, after watching various other vids i have a question i thought you could answer... Would it be possible to use a reg everyday charcoal grill as a forge?
I Have many large Solid boulders in my pasteurs, could i use a boulder as a anvil? I have basicly everything to start blacksmithing except for the anvil.
@VTwanderer yes you could in fact it is believed the vikings used stone and hardwood stumps for anvils as well as the celts and many other older cultures. there are acouple issues. Any imperfections on you anvil will transfer to your work. 2 stone breaks after continual beating with a hammer. 3 stone ca break under high heat. So yes you can use stone just be careful and watch for chips breaking off
@NuggetsOfTruths you can make a small emount of concrete and put a sledg hammer head or anything that is metal and take heat hope you got some good info =D wish you luck
instead of a bellow could i use a bike pump
