How'd you get the rims to fit? Did you use spacers. Mine is lowered on Megan racing springs and I have a set of stock srt rims that I couldn't get to fit

@BDLeader88 You have to either put spacers in or use lower profile tires. I have 5mm spacers in and I run 205/45/17 tires.

@BDLeader88 I'm running srt4 rims w/ 205/40/17's -- thats the only way they'll fit without changing the struts or using spacers

Did you have any trouble with getting the rims on. Because with my 04 I couldn't fit my rims on because the rubed the strut a little. I'm not too sure if thats normal.

@Jonesmanallright They rub because of the tires, the stock tires are a 50 series you need to go down to a 40 to fit under your struts. Or you gotta buy spacers to push your rims out.

@PutzkiSniper Thanks for the reply man. It doesnt have much, other then what you see, it has new tires now a glasspack welded into the exhaust and a cold air intake.

@sawhiskey6 Well I was here many months ago, and im back man! Lol my bro has a 04 Neon SXT and I am putting a peice of my old Perrin SRT4 exhaust (just the rear box like section, basically like a muffler) hopin it sounds good. I have to weld up a adapter being its a 2.25" ID to a 3" ID no one carries that so after all that is done, I would like to get an intake and 17's for him, maybe SRT rims. Any suggestions tho?

@PutzkiSniper Ive got sum cheap cold air intake on my neon with a K&N air filter on it. For rims the SRT rims are nice and all and I like em. Get whichever you want man, theres plenty out there. Cheers!

@sawhiskey6 Alright, sounds good man. And thanks. He wants eye lids too so I think im gonna buy them, get them color matched with the car, shine up the exhaust and wanted to get an aem intake.. Its just an auto but he thinks its pretty fast. Lol, I threw in some platinum plugs the other day and they have some cheapo wires so it runs pretty good really.

@PutzkiSniper cool deal, i was lucky enough to find a girl selling sum vinyl eyelids for my neon a few years back. they were a bitch to put on but havent had any problems with em since. ive always ran NGK plugs an ive still got the stock wires.. mine is auto too, they are slow cars, esp with heavy ass srt rims.. but they are slower cars out there.

your best bet to make your neon faster is to 1)sell it. 2) buy an srt4 rather than mimic one.
