Nice tutorial for making canvas prints and you make it look so easy! I find you can get away with enlarging your images more on canvas material as the texture can hide imperfections to some extent.
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm using CS5 now and have tried printing on an HP using the generic drivers through Photoshop getting average results. For large than 16 x 12 inch prints I normally use point101 . com (they have an awesome online preview system!) as my local snappy snaps use really cheap materials. Also to buy rolls of HP canvas is so expensive! I have also been told that Imageprint by Colourbyte Software is really good as it includes the profiles of the canvas media with the software.
Hey, just wondering, I'm looking to buy a printer that cau print onto canvas, how do you know if they can or not? I found the one you're using online but it's a bit outside of my price range :P
Most inkjet printers can, but there aren't very many suppliers of canvas for smaller formats. I've found that many hobby shops (where you buy specialty papers and canvas for painting etc) sell small stacks of A4 or letter canvas that can be used in most inkjet printers.
On average you can get about 60 13x19 prints from a set of cartridges. Keep in mind that each color has a separate cartridge so you'll be replacing some colors more often or less often than others - depending on which colors you use the most of.
what kind of photo editing software do you use? it doesn't look like photoshop cs to me, but maybe I'm wrong?

Hi again,
can you tell me how many 13x19 color photo prints you can get out of the 8 ink set until you have to replace all ink sets?
Thanks.

Hi - thanks for your comment and question!
I used a 5 mega pixel digital camera, edited the photo with Adobe Photoshop Elements and printed it on the HP Photosmart B9180 printer. - Ron
