am i blind or retarded but i did not see that wood getting heat treatment.. it's suppose to be done before and after gluing the two pieces together

I went to MI's GCA where John Carruthers teaches once a week. He's a pretty nice guy and extended an invitation to go to his shop a few times that I took him up on. The CNC machine that you see cutting is called the Haas (Hoss). Very cool stuff.
