So even if we moved the personalization layer, lots of items would break/not work natively. This is why we decided not to move WinXP personalization layers to Win7 machines.
Though you can use the MS USMT tool to migrate users or the Windows Easy Transfer to migrate settings and what not to the new Windows 7 Desktops.

Hey..if I upgrade by OS from XP to Win7, does the user's unidesk layered profile be compatible? Will the user get all their applications they installed on XP VM the same way in Win 7 as well?
