i had an abortion later in life and now i have a daughter in law that makes her feelings strongly cealr that she is against abortion and that she would never do it and it's wrong. well nobody but my husband knows what i had to do. and i do not regret it. but i do not feel i can say anything about it. and i do not think aborting is good but the alternatives were not good for me either.

According to the Guttmacher institute, the primary reason women have abortions is that they already have children or other responsibilities (work, school, etc.) that prevent them for caring for another baby. Two thirds also say that they cannot afford another child and half say that they would not want to be a single parent/parent the child with the father.
