  • The more I watch this and think about the past convention in KC, I realize how much history was present there. The Empire Room at the Muehlenbach, Connelly winning his 4th, the 50th anniversary of the Suntones... This is the stuff of legend.

  • Yep, that's Todd.

  • @LongKungFu I thought he was a tener?

  • @ChrisisBass13 He was the original bass for the Acoustix before Jeff came to town. Then, I believe he took over the tenor when Greg left. I also think Todd's dad was the original bass for the Suntones, so he's filling in as bass now. Anyone that knows for sure can jump in here. There are some videos of Todd with Keepsake filling in as baritone for Tony in Japan. One is "Heather on the Hill". My jaw dropped the first time I actually heard his full voice. I had only heard him as tenor before.

  • @mattdre88 Todd's dad Harlan Wilson, was the Baritone and still is! He's singing bari in this video.

  • is todd singing bass?

  • That is amazing. Wonderful rendition - and if I hadn't been watching, there is NO way I ever would have thought that was Tim. Sounded SO much like the original, it was uncanny! That boy is ridiculously talented. :-)

  • Classic Suntones show music! I LOVE how Waurick managed to modify his quality to match Gene Cokeroft's vocal color and quality. Amazing! The originals - Bob Franklin and Harlan Wilson - were certainly able to keep up with the "young ones" here! :-)

  • What didn't make it on video was their next tune, Go The Distance. And no, Tim did not take the hanger.
