@fockyerdod3r ...i've had an M3, driven GTR, owned a Viper GTS, and now a corvette (not delivered yet). The M3 is nice, but outside of the warranty period you better run away from it. Had a 335xi as well...major turbo issues. The M3 was great as long as you didn't push it. If you drive it hard, it breaks. My buddies M3 blew the whole rear end out and it's not even that old (he drives hard). If you know how to drive, american cars definitely hold their own.

I've saw both shows, it's a good opinion! Top Gear usually focuses on cars that can't be bought by everyone, Fifth Gear features cars that can be bought by everyone! I've told you, Top Gear is more for entertainment while Fifth Gear is for people who are more interested in the automotive market and industry! That's not a C6 Z51, it's a base car. Tiff said it has adjustable suspension, which means it has the F55 package, meaning it's not a Z51. Also, if you look closely, you can see that the rotors aren't cross-drilled. I think that if it was a Z51, it'd stand a better chance against the Viper. Base car is too soft. Also, any C6 could benefit from wider wheels and tires. It's very hard to hook up.

That's not a C6 Z51, it's a base car. Tiff said it has adjustable suspension, which means it has the F55 package, meaning it's not a Z51. Also, if you look closely, you can see that the rotors aren't cross-drilled. I think that if it was a Z51, it'd stand a better chance against the Viper. Base car is too soft. Also, any C6 could benefit from wider wheels and tires. It's very hard to hook up.

the viper is for people who know how to really drive. the vette is too. that's how most american cars are. most import sports cars have computer technology to do the driving for you. (cough GTR cough) and of course the Lancer and others. Which is fine with me but personally I like a more basic setup in a sports car. Viper ftw
