can I ask why people do that, spend a decent amount of time and money on building these then put a crap ESC with a battery not rated for your application, I see this all the time motors and batterys not working together frying under rated ESC's seems kinda stupid to me when a decent 45amp esc is only 20$
What you talking about? The ESC and battery were never a problem, rather the poor design of the EDF motor which gets no cooling at all and overheats quickly. I'll clearly won't put a Schuebler into a 5$ Depron flyer...
about 75%, the motor does not stand full throttle for more than a few secs. It's rated 28A, at full it draws almost 40A...
