  • 25 comments in one day! and that = 3 pages! people realy do like you

  • Great footage! Love the lid flipping. Sounds like a Labrie ASL, too. They all have that high-pitched squeal when the packer operates. Love it! Like and fav.

  • @reyflow8 Thanks a bunch! Believe it or not, they've actually put a dampener on the packer hydros in these trucks (only in SF) so they let out a significantly softer and higher pitched squeak. I don't know what Labrie was thinking with those squeaks. In San Jose (not Recology), their Automizers and Experts let out a loud and low pitched squeak (Labrie signature) that could be heard over the actual truck itself... My unwanted alarm clock :[

  • @ACX009 Ah...interesting. Yeah, it's kinda how Labrie is set apart from most other truck companies.

  • Gotta love this. Looks to been getting full too. Great job!

  • @legodude24652 Oh yeah. He swallowed a residential route appetizer before getting into this main course. Thanks dude!

  • Great video! haha the City of Phoenix uses the "Recycling changes everything" slogan as well..

  • @JaccobDalton It's short, sweet, simple, and effective. Much appreciated!

  • nice video what a beast truck really cool how Recology is keeping the Norcal colors on some trucks love the tipper nice footage

  • @AlliedWaste76 Thanks and Thanks. I'd hate to burst your bubble, but this truck is slated to be repainted soon, if it hasn't been already. All of these new trucks are getting the treatment first, and if you notice on the right side door, the Norcal logo has been removed and the Recology one has not yet been reapplied. Only the cab will be repainted, no worries.

  • @ACX009 ah that sucks at least they are keepting the truck :) its not like they are scraping or auctioning it so i am happy and yea that decal is really cool

  • @AlliedWaste76 Why would they scrap or sell these? They're like only 2-3 years old. Recology is Norcal, so I would understand if some larger company bought them out and didn't like the trucks so they refreshed the fleet and all... but... don't even think about it. They've (not particularly SF) still got Xpeditors from the White/GMC era, so... letting go of this baby, not even in your dreams. :]

  • @ACX009 i was talking about the Lodals and older WhiteGMCs and Volvos yea i know Norcal changed their name becasue they were going into Organ and the name Norcal in Organ would be stupied lol i love WhiteGMC anything that is my fav company that maid the Xpeditors well glad this has about a good 7 years on it :) again great video

  • @AlliedWaste76 The complements never stop coming. Much Appreciated! Besides Oregon, Recology is now looking into expanding to Washington, by taking over Clean Scapes. Woo! Local trash company (Recology is actually based in SF) is becoming a sanitation super-power!

  • @ACX009 hahah well when people put out good videos i have to complement them :) yea i heard about that they said they will keep the cleanScape name prettey soon Recology is the new Republic haha

  • @AlliedWaste76 Hahah Thanks. With Recology, I wouldn't be surprised if they battled it up with the big boys. Recology is in a category of its own. They offer an innovative product that's proven and effective. 77% waste diversion in one of America's largest and busy cities, I don't think anyone else has been able to come close.

  • @ACX009 i was about to say that Recologly deverts so much waste by compost and recycle and they make it easy i can see why AWSMC screwed up dual strem come on lol well i may not like the name to much but i love the service they provide and they seem to treat the custumer well i tip my hat to Recology :) and to you for haveing great video of Norcal and Recology trucks my favs the old WhiteGMC Xpeditors

  • Very nice! These tippers seem to work very well! Unlike those crappy baynes. And these flip lids! 5:59, into the trash. :( And then a second time.

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 I like these too, violent, but they punish carts like hell. The Baynes are quick and smooth.

Believe it or not, the last three blue carts were all the same cart. It was first emptied as recycling, and then the driver brought it back to the same appt. to empty their trash chute, because they didn't have a black cart. Third, the driver borrowed it to empty the city owned pedestrian debris containers on the corner. All and all everything went where it should.

  • Fantastic footage - it's always cool to see these Labries. This isn't just only a commercial route right? Or just a segment of his route is commercial? Please post more - I'm looking forward to that single compartment multi task!

  • @r6man2 Thanks buddy! He has a small residential route a few streets over. All of these were walk-ins. I'd hate to disappoint now, but there's less footage of the Multitask than you'll expect. :[

  • awsolme!! you should know this. do you know how to mute out the backround sound iMovie 09 and make it just the song?

  • @TrashMonkey29 Thanks! I've got you.

    Muting- 2 ways

    (1) Control-click on your clip, scroll to detach audio-click it. Then click on the separate audio stream (purple) and delete it. (2) You can also mute video volume by going into inspector-volume and drag the level to 0%.

On the bottom right of the preview pane, click on the button with the musical note, and then choose the sound clip from garageband or itunes--drag and drop onto your project in its respective place and viola! Hope this helps!

  • @ACX009 thank you no more of my mom and sister talking now on. only the vid and music

  • @TrashMonkey29 Just don't overdo the music. That last vid was a bit much. ;]
