good video did a morning flight too on etihad with the wife to find there was only 79 in total onboard never forget the faces of the stewardesses when they realised it was not carrying many i still think all middle east airlines are having a bit of a time getting customers at the right price as in 2008 when the recession kicked in u could fly with qatar for £379 u cant now due to high taxes imposed on us here in the uk called apt

Im guessing there's so many empty seats is because of the amount of Emirates flights to Dubai. Also, I'm guessing people initially pick to go to Dubai rather than Abu Dhabi due to the popularity of Dubai at current.

the airport terminal looks creepy. I am flying heathrow to chennai via abu dhabi this May. This is the cheapest airline i could find but looks good....just that i cant understand a word of what they said.

Dont worry they give all information in english aswell as arabic. Abu dhabi terminal is small and easy to find your way around (plus free internet accses if you can get a spare pc). Staff on etihad are great, enjoy your trip

Reminds me of when I went MAN-AUH in March 2007. Very good airline indeed. Abu Dhabi Airport is tidy and the main thing is that the people communicate well. I went from MAN-AUH-PEW. Both were Airbus A330's.

I agree completely. What I've also noticed is that the planes, regardless of the manufacturer, model or age, the aircraft seem to be better maintained. They're always being upgraded and they're always clean. Sometimes I board Etihad and I'm just amazed.

i did that same trip in febuary this year plane was half full, or half empty whichever way you wanna put it and was goin to BKK via abu dabi was a good flight althought i wasnt to keen on abu dhabi airport
