you know you can speed the process behind your back up by just turning half of the deck upside down instead of one at a time:) if you do that you just simply take the card from the back and put it on top of the deck and then show it to the spectator:) You make it much more fun for the spectator by going a bit faster. and making the proces behind your back more efficient will make it easier for you and more fun for the spectator!

isnt it easier to take the first card from the bottom put it on top on show them the top card. Then you just watch the bottom card and put it on top again and show it to people. that way you dont have to move that much with your hands and they will see that you only move one card. Coz now its looks like you shufling the deck behind you.

you could also put the deck back wards showing the top with the card face up. everything below it is face down. Then you're only moving one card each time so it takes less time.

I like this card trick, I've done it a couple times, when I was younger. This is actually one of the first tricks that got me intrested in magic. And the jumping jacks card trick, salt shaker thur the table, and this one are all great starter tricks, that blow away people. Practice in the mirror a few times and you can impress so many people. I even have gotten free drinks at bars with this one, and a few others.
