and look at the hardware options for the droid. physical keyboards like the samsung epic (game keyboard in the case of xperia play), 3d video, games and pics on the lg thrill, and the shear amounts of replacement apps for android. go launcher ex, go sms, handcent, go locker, poweramp, ttpod, and the list goes on and on. and rooting vs jailbreaking. i dont know much about jailbreaking, but rooting is awesome. a rooted droid is FAR more powerful in almost every way than an iphone. plus its legal.

well, excuse me, Thesource1809, but hes stating something that has been rather consistent with the higher end droids. i understand the lower end ones are unavoidable because Google allows manufacturers to use their operating software, but compare them not based on your preferences, but the stats, and the customizability, and the droid is a clear winner. ive gotten a 2 year old phone thats been through alot running better than the iphone that came out in the same time frame.

@frostman645 depends on your style you want. A clean interface? iPhone all the way. Simplicity? iPhone. Apps? Even though Apple has more, all the basic apps are there- SAME. Widgets? Incredible 2. and like I told Colby 4 life, all phones have their glitches. I use the iPhone 4, and do not experience any bugs or glitches. One thing on the Android phone, there is a chance you can get a virus(dont believe me? They have AVG on android lol). Just test em both out and see what you like!

the iphone lacks features, and lacks ways to personalize it. the incredible is very smart, and understands a wide variety of accents and voice patterns, the iphone lacks this, but with the 4s it has improved, but i still prefer android and HTC over ios and apple

@DucttapeWarriors2 Well whatever it is. The HTC Sense UI looks much more clearer and convincing. The widgets are plentiful. The specifications are better too. In my opinion there is only 3 things Apple defeats HTC when it comes to Android phones. And that is :-

-The AppStore

-The iTunes

-The Camera

HTC's Camera has never been that stable unlike iPhone 4 which is filled with full of clarity and makes pictures look more crisp and crystal-clear. Other than that, iPhone 4 can't compare to HTC.

@DucttapeWarriors2 I'm an apple man, this is an apple macbook I'm using but this video makes one hell of an argument. Droid kills the Iphone with speed, and speed is important for everything you do. The keyboard was better, the text wrapping is a major design flaw, and the Droid has flash which is serious for using videos. Gotta say tho, the design on the iphone feels less like a computer, more like a magic screen in your pocket. I'd be curious if the 4s can be the best of both worlds.

What the reviewer fails to mention or realize and and this happens time and time again, is that the half-second difference in loading data (web pages, youtube videos, navigaton, etc) really doesn't matter that much...at all. Both of these phones are fast. Pretty much all smartphones are nowadays. Whether or not that one loads that inch faster depends on a lot of factors. But what really matters is the experience of the os...and the reliability of it. And I think apple still has that...

Also, sometimes the market freezes and the phone randomly turns itself sideways, even when you have not moved it...very annoying! Other then that, internet seems fine. Speed of the apps and everything is not bad.  The navigation is pretty awesome. Still considering switching to an iphone though.

Have the droid incredible two. I like it and don't like it at the same time. The apps tend to stop working after having them for a little bit.  I have had to download a new alarm clock twice already, and my app killer tends to be an epic fail sometimes because it freezes. I have had success with several apps though. The camera is amazing. I hate how you cannot skype on it. One reason why I wanted the phone and did not find out until after I had it that you cannot skype on it.
