@VeryTucker thats not the point. Well the Mclaren will destroy it around the track, but thats not hard to do. The Veyron is a point and shoot (in a straight line) car, while being comfortable. The Mclaren is a track car that is very comfortable. Totally different classes too.

If you really think the McLaren will destroy it around the track then you need to do your homework.. you can even find it here on youtube, the Veyron is faster than most on a winding track or straight line.

This is a matter of form following function. Today, aerodynamics play a major roll in the shape of mid engine sports cars. You've got to get air in, out, under and over the car. As more cars are designed in a wind tunnel you'll see simularities from car to car. Also, Mclaren brass stated they didn't want over the top styling for 12C. This won't appeal to 14 year olds seeking their next poster. That's not their target market. They want customer who wouldn't consider a super car.

Mclaren the cheating team. They tried it in F1 in 2007 fortunately they were caught doing it. They cant even produce or make their own engine for crying out loud. They still rely on some manufacturer to produce their engines. This 12c uses and engine that again came from another manufacturer. If Kia can produce their own engines then why cant the mercs do it? They are suppose to be hightech car maker now then why cant they produce their own engines? They are trying to copy Ferrari's footsteps.
