  • it's a perfect blend of Eastern and Middle Eastern culture.

  • Further to my last post, may I add my fervent wish and hope that the precious cultural treasures that still survive in various parts of the world ---that testify to glorious global unifying beliefs --find a way to be preserved --including the great Uighur music that I have just discovered.

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • Duldul,

Hello unknown friend. Thank you for posting such enchanting music. I am from India and personally believe that traditional folk music the world over has a lot of common elements. Music is the language of the soul and expresses itself in diverse but similar strains. I am Hindu and we Indians believe that everything that there is in this universe is essentially One. Truth, beauty ,compassion. That is all we know on earth and all we need to know.

  • Beautiful dance, I have seen a similar dance in S.East Asia where the women carry lighted votive candles in small glass jars on their heads. However, they do not move at such a fast pace. I wonder who came up with such a dance, what was it originally for, and how it traveled to other countries.

  • This is a real Uighur dance,,who dominated the whole cetnral Asia by their rich culture ,and language for more than One Thousand years, This is a historical Fact. However, recent occupation by Communist Chinese, they start to lose everything one after other,,

I think, better to judge something when you got the whole picture, or understand the background.

  • marsian have nice UFO ....but probaply they got those from greek...com on man world is not greek only..greek are faymous to thief everthing from other nations and laying.YOu west people are ready to eat all their lies.

  • This is a real Uighur dance,,who dominated the whole cetnral Asia, and Monguls by their rich culture for more than One Thousand years, This is a historical Fact. However, recent occupation by Communist Chinese, they start to lose everything one after other,,

I think, better to understand ,or learn the background before judge it,,,

  • this is not greek. greeks have smthg similiar just because they lived with ottoman turks. and all turks have the same culture. there is no way that uygurs can adopt grrek folk music... i mean NO WAY!

  • i meant greek

  • Raxmat:-)

  • thanks for posting

    this

  • If this was a greek dance all of the plates would be broken by now.

  • wow that looks hard.....i wish i could dance like that

  • Uyghurs of Kazakistan danced to this music first and they performed this music. Uyghurs of occupied Eastern turkistan are loosing their creativity and charicatar under the Chinese communist rule. Uygur dance is becoming more and more just to entertain Chinese officials. What these girls r wearing is not a proper Uyghur costume. Im not againt if a women shows their belly but these costume is made to setisfy the taste of the corrupted Chinese officials.

  • Yaşasın Turan!!!
