i'm beginning 2 love this formation. i put in a couple single wing plays on our 7-8 yr olds last year, just to try it out, and the power running was great. this year i cant wait 2 put in the double wing. im drooling over the misdirection and counters. even i lose the ball watching some of the double wing i've been seeing on youtube.
@majestik815 my team used to run this too when I was younger. its good because of the fact it was hard to read for young players but as a running back, you don't learn as much as running from a standard I or single back
i love the concept and ran it by our offenseive coach last year, and even this year, but still no double wing. we have a small core of lineman only 115# but we have alot of speed and i think the dub-wing will work mixed up with some spread, run to open the pass, trips wide and dubs or single on the other side will speel victory for any small team

my high school runs this I am the C back witch is the wing back and we run those 47 counter that is my faviorte play I also love 99 superpower and 55 base lead

I coached a single B team last year and beat every BB, and BBB team we faced at least by 33 pionts a game oh and by the way the other teams scored 0 points

We run this in an english american football league, with a "lazy" motion pre snap, and we manage to run all over defense's

The I formation is our base offense. we use it probably 60% of the time. The other 40% is split between wing, singleback, and a few spread plays.
