From the first season to the last season Bette & Tina always made you come back for more, the best ending for them was getting back together and raise their daughter. Someone said this show was about more than lesbians coming together it is about true friendships and commitments to each other in all arena's. Watching it has helped me to see that having close girlfriends is good...

I think one of the reasons this is, to most fans of The L Word, probably the best love making scene in the show, is because it shows Bette vulnerable. In the story, by the time they got to this scene, Bette had realized just how much she really loved Tina, and was deeply remorseful for many things she had done. Also, by this part of the story, Tina was becoming more self-sufficient, stronger, more confident, and both of those things needed to happen. The end result...this amazingly acted scene.
