I have this transcritions for voice and guitar by Konrad Ragossnig and John W Duarte. I and my voice partner may try these Schubert songs in the near future.
Does anyone know if this guitar transcription (or any other) is published or available in any way? I'm a tenor who loves to sing Schubert, and I'd love to perform with a guitar!
As thanksmoo mentioned Franz Schubert Die schoene Mullerin arranged for guitar from the original piano part by Konrad Ragossnig and John W Duarte is available from Schott.
does someone have video of Konrad Ragossnig playing i would love to see it!!!! a great player there must be some video footage that some has some where
I am afraid to say that Konrad Ragossnig is completely forgotten in youtube. This is one of the reason why I uploaded this video. I am sure that his videos exist somewhere since this Schbert's duo with Peter Schreier was televised in our country. I attended solo concert of Ragossnig which I felt unsatisfactory, but in duo and chamer music he is a very talented musician.
no joy iam afraid, he is not a fan of video clips and will not help in supplying any or where to find them!!!!
I did try !!!!
A great Player, who has taught a large number of Guitists; I would love to have heard him the Rodrigo Aranjuez concerto, he has played it , but no commerical recording????????
To my knowledge he did not record Aranjues concerto. I am afraid to say that Ragossnig is very good at classic German, English, French, baroque or Renaissance music, but not Spanish modern pieces. Does he sometimes have his concerts in Switzerland or in Europe?
Right. Songs composed by Schubert are one of world treasures. Very well composed and appeal to my heart, even though my understanding of German is limited. I learned German as my second foreign language, but I cannot follow what Muller wrote.
Thank you for your interpretation. These songs are translated into Japanese before I was bone. Schubert songs are very familiar to classic advocates in our country. Some of them we learn in music class at school, although they are sung in Japanese.
очень приятное и милое исполнение! спасибо!!!

Hey! I have recorded that song as well, it is of course a very humble version of a Rock musician, but maybe you like it too!
