Dubai is not located in a earthquake zone,

and the weather is always good, so there's no problem to built man made islands overthere. We dutch are building those islands, and we know what we are doing because our entire country lies under sea level, and no seawater did come in sins the 50's, and now we even teach americans how to keep their feet dry in the future.

Keep in mind, it only looks like a map of the world FROM AERIAL VIEWS. When you're actually there it's no different than being anywhere else when you're 5 or 6 feet tall. There's too much emphasis on the shapes of these Dubai islands. They are overrated and only relevant if you're flying over them at 10,000 feet.
