I've had these 4 movies on my iphone for a year, today when I synced my iphone (with normal itunes, they just wouldn't sync..) yes, syncing videos is enabled...

why does this program not just install normally and have a shortcut for me to click on and start it? instead it seems to slowly download the program each time I start it from that list of programs you give. @11DRUMMERGUY You have to use CopyTrans 4 to copy off the media files from iPod to computer. Then you can add the files to the second iPod using CopyTrans Manager.

@Denvermorgan2000 You must be using CopyTrans instead of CopyTrans Manager. CopyTrans, our iPod-to-computer transfer tool is a paid program whereas the iDevice manager is completely free.
I hunted around for too long a time searching for a simple way to do what transmanager does so beautifully and simple. This is the best. Don't bother with sharepod, for example. it doesn't deliver! Thanks for a GREAT, FREE program.
Moving songs to playlists could be better though! Its kind of a pain, I don't know if it matters or not about the screen resolution on my laptop "1280x800" or its maybe just the program that needs work.... The sensitivity somewhere needs to be adjusted.

@sugarkang I might be downloading this to avoid getting iTunes in the first place... Depending on how much space this software needs. If it is reasonably smaller than iTunes than I see no reason to go for iTunes unless you buy music/games/apps/etc from the store. (which I don't because I only have a shuffle)
(My games take up a lot of space, I don't want my portable music device manager to do the same)
Can you do a gridview with the album thumbnails? And if so, can we do another grid view one level in? I have 50,000 mp3s. I like to click genre first to narrow down my choices to a few thousand, and then start looking at covers. iTunes only lets me grid view for one level.

You will need to use an alternative option to import your CDs to your computer before transferring them with CopyTrans Manager.

This is WAY better than itunes! my itunes would no longer work cuz of stupid quicktime so I got this and I don't think I'll ever use itunes again :)

Moving songs to playlists could be better though! Its kind of a pain, I don't know if it matters or not about the screen resolution on my laptop "1280x800" or its maybe just the program that needs work.... The sensitivity somewhere needs to be adjusted.

yeah, i'm still tied to itunes, but i hate it. I tried songbird or whatever. that was also a failure. slow as molasses.
people need to follow the firefox model for success.
1. copy the interface of the leading product (itunes) so that people who want to switch don't have to learn anything new.
2. remove features that nobody uses (bloat).
3. make it fast..

You guys need to make a proper tutorial of features and import/export from iTunes. It's not enough to expect users to switch over all of a sudden.

@sugarkang I might be downloading this to avoid getting iTunes in the first place... Depending on how much space this software needs. If it is reasonably smaller than iTunes than I see no reason to go for iTunes unless you buy music/games/apps/etc from the store. (which I don't because I only have a shuffle)
(My games take up a lot of space, I don't want my portable music device manager to do the same)

Can you do a gridview with the album thumbnails? And if so, can we do another grid view one level in? I have 50,000 mp3s. I like to click genre first to narrow down my choices to a few thousand, and then start looking at covers. iTunes only lets me grid view for one level.

Can you add or delete song without deleteing the whole ipod library?
i have like about 1,500 song in my ipod but my computer crashed and i got a new one but now i want to add and delete some songs to my ipod but idont want to lose all my music
