I usd to play index if you watch some of my earliest videos but I soon realized that I would need a different key setup if I wanted to be able to play anything harder. It was really tough getting used to the setup I use today but it was well worth it. Songs like this are realy easy now.

Using this setup I alternate between hands each arrow. If there are long 16th streams then each hand is technically only playing at 8th streams. It gets really fun when they start throwing doubles in there. :p

what keys do you use?

I play using a spread setup. Specifically using esdf and ijkl for the arrows and spacebar for enter. I like using this setup since it's just like I'm typing, more or less.

Spread. My left hand usese the "esdf" keys and my right "ijkl" while using spacebar for enter.

oh, whats the point of both hands covering all four steps at the same time? isnt that harder?

Its really quite the opposite. I can alternate between hands each note so im technically, playing slower with each hand.

Example:

Wall of 16ths come up (As in the video), each hand gets every other note, so each hand is hitting notes at 8ths speed. Make sense?

kinda makes sense, so ur saying like if a jump note (exp. down and left arrow) comes up, one hand takes down key and other hand takes left key? and if its just seperate notes each hand takes turns hitting the steps?

Exactly. Some jumps can be hit with one hand though :P!

ohhh, i tried doing that style but my left hand isnt as fast as my right since i usually played one hand so it just screwed everything up

for now im trying each hand takes up two steps, waay easier than one hand but still my left hand is kinda screwing up for fast songs
