I'm interested in property in Windsor. Could you give me an idea of which areas are considered low-land value (I've heard that if you stay east of downtown, it's fine)?

Most of Windsor is reasonable right now due to the 10% unemployment and the many houses for sale. East Windsor is good value for money - the areas are usually nice. There is crime in Windsor just as there is in Regina or anywhere. I would stay away from condos as the monthly fee isn't worth the price (values won't rise). Anywhere from Tecumseh north to Wyandotte between Pilette & Jefferson is good value (not a condo like this house). You can also try the Riverside area (not drive)-really nice.

Yes, my parents had a home for many years in Riverside - my dad was born in a house just a few doors down from where we lived. It's a wonderful place to be but homes here cost more than the area I've described above - however, right now homes are really inexpensive everywhere in Windsor. South Windsor is still pricey but is a nice area.

Just remember that the river isn't south but north - newbees sometimes forget that.
