@beats1969 Wow. I've been listening to independent music since the 70's, and I can easily say I haven't heard a band as original and talented as this in decades. Billie Holliday is a good comparison, I grant you, but that's hardly an insult. What you see is a vintage style with upright bass. What you're not seeing is the amazing abilities of the drummer to play on incredibly diverse rhythmic instruments (typewriters, garbage cans, bike racks, hi-hat on the snare, etc.) with amazing sound.
