  • best utube vids by a country mile, where is his restaurant

  • After you've shot the rabbits with air guns for a while they learn to run away from people getting within 60yards so you can't just advance so you use .22LR. I agree hunting is a sport and if its easy its not as fun. I cant bow hunt in the UK but you can and love doing it so keep going. and why shoot dear at 1000yards when you can advance and shoot it at 200. Anyway I enjoy it whether the challenge is in stalking or making a tricky shot id love to try bow hunting, but alas not legal:(

  • Question Is he shootin' with .22 pellet gun? What kind of air gun is it? Thanks a lot. from U.S.A

  • @maxinpains no he's shooting a .22LR silencers are legal in the UK thats why its quiet

  • @gazzmilsom

It's Air rifle gun right? .22 pellet.

  • @maxinpains no its not a pellet gun its a rifle. He's using .22LongRifle the most popular cartridge in the world. Its not that loud because he's shooting subsonic ammo and is using a silencer so you can only really hear the sound of the action and the round hitting the target. At 0.38 he's topping off a magazine with .22LR.

  • @gazzmilsom i don't see any silencer or supressor on his gun. & if it's rifle it's way too close to use one....looks no need for rifle to me.

  • @maxinpains You never get a good look at the end of the rifle and its very dark but he is using a supressor. Air rifles are used a lot for vermin control in the UK however due to the way UK law works they are limited to no greater than 12ftlbs at the muzzle its easier to get a .22LR than a more powerful magnum airgun. This means most uk airguns cant do more than 700fps so there only good for 50 yards max .22LR can do 150yards easy Its the workhorse of rabbit killers.

  • @gazzmilsom I'd just use pellet gun for this....LOL It's rabbit. ....small game, m8.

  • @maxinpains Thats cool I use an air rifle too but i have used .22LR as well sometimes you need the extra reach thats all

  • @gazzmilsom

If i need extra reach then i'd advance with air rifle. hunting is sport. otherwise it's just same as sit & click remortcontrol t.V.'s. lol For deer or bigger games, i'd use 38 cal. rifles. give a good punch to the game. It works everytime even in 1000 yard shot. but i prefer compound bows .

Too easy not too fun. LOL

  • i thought these dumbass brits gave upt heir gun rights .it takes two week to make it .it looks like klingon worms .i bet its delish

  • Thanks for the video Mark , its obvious you know what your doing , keep up the good work , got my rabbit soaking now , will try your recipe tomorrow , thanks again

  • I have not heard of pissing them before, never seen it done by other hunters either so thats a first . I used to gut and clean them within a couple of hours catching them with me 12 bore. Chop them up,(no soaking over night in salt water or storing in olive oil) straight into the pot, add vegetables of choice, a couple of stock cubes and seasoning. Simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Rabbit stew tasted lovely.

  • Do you have black birch where you live? If yes, why the special expensive noodles?

  • Dude this guy is awesome. I hope he gets his own hunting tv channel and if he already does then i mad for not seeing it before.

  • mark - great videos

  • Excellent video and the bird is an excellent Bushcraft meal easily prepared in the field. I can't wait to try the bunny. Would you ever use the bones for a soup base since you had so many?

  • rabbit bone make a really unpleasant stock, if you dont believe me, feel free to try it

  • it would be perfect if the pasta wasnt black and you weren't eating gross ass rabbits and pigeons you sick sick bastard

  • gordon ramsey liked it, so i'l listen to him, because he is great and i am antiseptic

  • if hes sick im sick yuou sick sick fucker!

  • @younooobb eat shit and die ahole.should he make like disney colors for you

  • hi mark - great videos thx - should i wash the cavity out after gutting any animal? cheers dieter

  • no dont wash it it introduces bacteria to the meat

  • Mark, just wondering... how long do you usually boil the rabbit for? Another great vid mate, nice one!

  • two tot three hours, till it fals apart

  • Mark, got to say many thanks, cooked rabbit your way at the weekend and have got to say, it was the best ever.

Did not make the pasta, just made into a rabbit pie, got loads of "this is the best ever".

Going to check your Roe deer out now as I got a Doe at the weekend.

    Steve

  • I assume that the remaining bits of gut don't taint the meat?

  • which remaining bit of guts?

  • wel mark great vid i enjoyed watching all your cilps really useful and has help a lot am all into living off the land was wondering if you have dvds of your work i.e shootting and cooking do you do any lurcher work are ferreting or is it just shooting thanks

  • is that .22 air rifle or .22 rifle thanks just wondered because the sound its dead quit more so than my air arms s410

  • no it is a rifle, but the camera doesn't pick up the high fractions of sound so it sounds like an air rife

  • 2 2 rifle 22?

  • 2 2 in the uk, iam a guessing 22 in the us?

  • Well Mark, many thanks for the tips and vid. I used to have one of those rifles, I now have the BA version, far more accurate. I will try that recipe but with normal pasta, what was the water the chokes went into again please?

    Regards

    Ste

  • lemon juice, stops them from going brown, vinager works as well

  • tight motherfuckers.

  • If you can't kill it, don't eat it. At least this guy can do that much, instead of buying his meat.
