  • This was all over the pirates / dance stations in London all those years ago, I heard it many times navigating from my gaff in Streatham to my girlfriend's in New Cross. Seemed like "so many miles apart" on those damned roads.......

  • God with us always!

  • 31 people are alone

  • @enterthetekken YOU'RE SO FUNNY ^^

  • British music are scintillating! cheers from Brazil.

  • Well I was double your age last year already!! That's why I never heard of the artist who seems to be known as "Olive" and I'm already wondering who she was just before that!!

If I don't hurry up and get my shower, I'm liable to be smellin' like I'm 20x your age by the time I get to anywhere else, haha!!

I'm already wondering what would happen if ya ever got good and done with me too, ya know??

Eh... nevermind me, I already know I was a problem when I was born anyway. Where's ya Like Button??

  • @EagleMedieval Who's this in reply to?

  • This was number one on the day I was born :D

  • @IsobellaKatherine

damn you make me feel old with a comment like that and im only 28

  • @NoDreamin You're only twice my age >.<

  • @IsobellaKatherine who's the original song by?

  • @isawthemlive I'm pretty sure the song is original- it's by Olive. Why are you asking me anyway? >.<

  • @IsobellaKatherine oh okay thanks! i asked you 'cause idk i read your lil convo with that other person (sorry if thats weird?) and i noticed that you said this was number one on the day you were born, so i figured you were familiar with the original...i like the version that mads langer sings and so i didnt know how many other artists performed this song and yeah thats why i asked...

  • @isawthemlive It's not weird :L & oh okai :)

  • A good song for all the people that really do believe that they are alone!!

  • YOUR NOT ALONE!

  • No sólo me gusta me encanta!!! AWESOME!!

  • Alright, seriously though... You guys are REALLY depressing me. :(

  • Wow, the song's sad and all, but I feel like the majority of the commenters should be on suicide-watch. It's gonna be okay fellas! Hang in there. You're not alone.

  • memories

  • I really really love someone, like really. I was the one he told who he had a crush on. I encouraged him. He got his wish. Now my heart is broken by my own stupidity.

    RIP.

  • Breaks my heart.

  • that stuttered synth has always made this track for me. alas i suffered a loss in love recently, the lyrics are quite the reality. great tune though.

  • God..this is so beautiful.

  • love how much this song affects people. For better for worse... doesn't really matter. The feeling's real. I just wish I got to enjoy this in a rainy field when it first came out with all the 90's ravers. It's where I belong and I'm not alone on that I'm sure... :p

  • who else came here after listening to Jamie Woon's version?

  • It's hard not to see the irony. I always seemed to be alone when I was sitting at the bar drowning in my drink while this song played at the clubs. It sure didn't make me feel any better. Haha.

  • I absolutely love this song, but it cut off before the song was over. Was this just me?

  • It's so interesting to read that so many people connect with this song when they have lost someone....on hearing this recently i decided to listen to it as if an angel was singing to me...timeless

  • I lost a very important person in my life...so I really think that now, she is fine... I hope...and, that´s true, I´m not alone... specially because I never can´t out her of my mind. Good song. I Love you, my life, my sister. And I know that you know it.

  • Nostalgia.

  • what a beautiful song.this song brings back happy memories of me and my first love

  • i was young in love.... this will forever be in my heart,....

  • This song makes me cry cause i waited a long time to see my man and when i hear this i shed tears. Such a pretty song!

  • Everybody can by crazy of love... "but the guy is lucky who drives you crazy"

  • When I first heard this song I was driving and felt as if I was a teenager who had fallen in love for the first time , not with a girl but this song( I had been married for 5years).I suspect a lot of people feel as if they have been touched by something divine. To me this tune is verging on the miraculous and I'm agnostic.

  • mads langer is doing a better job sorry /:

  • I will not worry for you..you will be just fine....

  • Funny how I discovered this song at work, and it always comes on whenever I'm having a tough time (a complaint or I've made a mistake or something). Then I look to the right and the advertisement is T.M.Lewin (the place I work).

  • is so good song.

  • Go check this awesome cover: Mads langer You're Not alone

  • @ClanSmoellez nice version..I liked it :D

  • Yo man i've been listening this song for more than a decade now!!!!

  • @exmasamune1 lol who cares

  • im 14 i prefer this to tinchy stryder version

  • cant believe the tinchy stryder version has more views than this..... :(

  • 22 people are alone now :'(

  • much better then this cover version from this teenage guy

but of course, the newer generation like the new version more, perhaps for all new songs today.

but i really miss my generation :(

  • @TheLuri89 well, he just did an acoustic cover, which sounds also good.. i like both versions and im from the newer generation. first i heard the acoustic cover and then i tought, it wouldnt be a cover. hmm i just hate commercial songs. but this song is 100% non commercial. everybody likes his own musicgenre ;) b.t.w. there r a lot songs from the older generation that makes me happy :)

  • 2:41 - 2:55 = Amazing!

  • I love this song. I have a loved one who is struggling with mental illness. We were so close, he is my hero. But after he broke down, it has been hard to reach him. I feel that I can always sing this song to him, to him and to my son, if one day I die.

  • The day i lost my baby, was the day, i heard this song for the first time

  • I love this song. 11 years later it still is better than alot of shit out there.

  • @intheshitter You mean 15 years... ;-)

  • Please can you guys keep your jibba-jabba about childhood fairytales (aka religion) off this brilliant piece of music.

  • @Tangax337 it's gullible

  • in my view the version of mads langer is much better

  • @uffpast dumbass

  • In a way it's all A matter of time. I will not worry for you. You'll be just fine. Take my thoughts with you, And when you look behind, You will surely see a Face that you recognize. You're Not Alone. I'll wait 'til the end of time. Open your mind. Surely it's plain to see You're Not Alone. I'll wait 'til the end of time for you. Open your mind. Surely there's time to be with me...
  • This is so right...in so MANY ways

  • I lost my mother when I was very young, when I first heard this song I swore it was her sending to me. This song reminds me that she is always with me, no matter what.

  • @alyria76 your comment makes me cry.

  • @alyria76 ...same here; I completely agree with your comment. How strange... perhaps we lost our mothers around the same time... you're defintely not alone<3

  • @alyria76 Almost the same here but it wasn't my mother but my best friend who died 3 years ago. He was my only true family and I miss him so badly... but everytime I hear that song, I feel like he's by my side...

  • where did you get this artwork from??

  • i'm am the youngest borther of 3 brothers of and 2 sisters. I was born ten years later, after my youngest brother. I cried when my siblings would go out, and i had to stay at home. they would put me to sleep on weekends and say " while you sleep away, listen to this song, this is what we dance to. Sleep well, one day you will experience this" I did, and I'm thankfull, that i could experience this now, at 23. music is timeless, this song is timeless.

  • @AllesEd Dude, that's really cool that they introduced you to what they were dancing to, it's like you were partying with them even though you apart. This song really is timeless, I haven't heard it in, like 15 years, and it still sounds way ahead of its time.

  • @PunchAPeach same here man .. I forgot all about it and as soon as i heard it I was right back in a rave in detroit ... this song is timeless..

  • excellent audio...

  • I miss Massinova.

  • what does barry soetoro, the pope, the masons and gaddafi have to do with this track. Amazing lyrics. We all know how this world is ruled and yet we do nothing to save it. The power comes from the ppl and not those fucks, we give them power and its in our hands to take it from them. So think about it, let it marinate in ur head 4 a sec. Great song !!

  • Great Song!!!!

  • @JacquesZupp realy?

  • @JacquesZupp Take your delusion and preach it somewhere else you lunatic.

  • always hair raising mwah!

  • What a voice! :)

  • this would be great as background music for a film-)

  • @JacquesZupp

What are you talking about? Gospels are religious texts how can you not mix them up with religion when they're all an account of the life of Jesus? You Believe the gospels you believe in Jesus which would make you a Christian which is a *drum roll please* religion!

As to how Christians differ that I have no interest in arguing about it's semantic bullshit, you all believe in zombies for me that's enough to draw a comparisson.

  • @JacquesZupp

You may feel a great need to nit pick every custom of catholisim to death because you have the "true" belief but you can't apply those arguments here because I'm not arguing for or against religion I'm arguing against you!

I don't care about catholics or protestants or whatever batch of crazy you subscribe to, you're all insane but at least the average person knows their irrational bullshit is exactly that so keep it to themselves.

  • @JacquesZupp

You don't, you preach and tell people to "believe" like it could ever be that fucking easy to a rational person! It says a great deal about you if all you need to believe something is to hear it over an ominous soundtrack.

Most people need more, they need evidence and for extraordinary claims they want extraordinary evidence. You tell me there's .5% less sugar in my Dr Pepper I'll take you at your word, you tell me it prevents vampire attacks and we have a problem.

  • @JacquesZupp

You're mistaking me for someone who has no fucking clue what they're talking about.

I know all about the ecumenical councils so please just stop name dropping and make a point if you have one. I've read the bible, in full, at least 10 times. I've also read the non-canonical gospels (and acts) as well as books about the books covering the history and politics of the time.

I don't know what you expect to get by naming shit I'm fully aware of.

    General Custer! Starbucks! Bullshit!

  • @JacquesZupp

I argue about this shit all the time and I don't do it out of ignorance.

I only have 500 characters to make a point so I try to make it in one post because I would rather not completely hijack the entire front page of a video so I mentioned the error of the number of the beast (which is in the KJV).

I thought I was dealing with a sort of evangelist not whatever brand of crazy you are.

  • @JacquesZupp

There's just too much too comment on, you talk of Satan and then refrence the book of Jeremiah like you even need Satan with that god.

This slavish devotion to the King James bible as well, I don't get it. You know that bible has been updated at least 4 times right? Is there a version of that version? Were they constatnly correcting for accuracy or did they edit the "truth" out of it at some point?

We have more accurate texts now, are these "satanic or some shit?
