  • Good for you Matt! Keep going! I finally got to the point where I am a very happy vegetarian, I really don't crave meat anymore. One day I went into 5 Guys Burgers & Fries with my husband (he still eats meat) and I had to leave because I couldn't stand the smell. Now when I go vegan, I crave cheese :-) When I go raw I crave cooked vegan food. I think settling in somewhere with 80% raw, mostly vegan is what I"m hoping for in the long run. Stay strong. You're looking good in that Rocky shirt!!

  • I used to go back and forth between loving healthy diets and hating them. I realize now that I was worrying too much about the whole thing, and my anxiety alone was giving me "detox symptoms". I watched "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!"'s raw food and fast food episodes and that really helped me chill out about food more. I really admire you though, and you inspire me to do what I think is best :)

    Just handing out some personal advice stories. :) I really hope everything works out for you Matt.

  • I crave meat once per month and found that ultimately it wasnt meat it was tomatoes that I was craving. So when it comes around a make a spicy garlicy tomato soup or a huge bowl of amazing pasta with tomato sauce. Now when ever I get that craving I associate it with tomatoes instead. You doing great!!!! You are still detoxing, give it another 7 days and Im sure most of this will pass. Peace :)

  • whats even cooler is that i did the 30 day challenge and after the 30 i went three more months because the raw food became so delisiouso that I did not need regular food.... you can sub the namashiu for coconut aminos sorry for my spelling.

    look in to the two moms and the raw bars they are really good

  • @PastorErickDMarquez Wow! So you went for 4 months? That's pretty cool. Yeah... I have coconut aminos in my fridge (see day 2), but it's just not the same as soy sauce. I'm okay with soy sauce... it's soy products, like fake meat, I want to avoid.

  • yeah after like the second week you should be fine...just always remember its only for thirty days....
