It was a very nice ad, indeed. I must say, alfonsolagunas, I understand your aversion to mom; but naturally every gay couple that has a child will decide how they shall be called by the child. I guess that's just how they decided to do it! :)
@SantoriniEpona what ? so when a gay couple has children they should have roles and change their gender to fit to a "normal" family pattern ? u can call one of your fathers: dad, and the other one daddy. same goes for a lesbian couple, one "mom" and one "mummy." As long as there's love your child will be successfully raised, and if your child (let's say a girl) needs specific advices during puberty you can always ask her grandma/a female friend or wait for school to give her tips and info.
I'm pretty sure that "mom" is actually a woman being portrayed as a deli man because she makes all the sandwiches in the house.
