  • why do I always find it sexy when a women does kung fu?

  • Superb.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Chinese Perfection as only the Chinese can provide. Perfect !

  • @47wma So it's 'Chinese Perfection' even though it's a Japanese that performed it? :-)

  • @47wma She is Japanese 47wma. Care to pay attention??

  • A truly magnificent performance. Perfection!

  • this is not taiji

    just for show

taiji is all about internal power

  • Amazing. Lithe, graceful, competent, extremely strong and flexible. I've just started learning Wu style after several years of Yang. Her abilities are inspiring and Olympic-worthy! I recognize kicks, jumps and deep bends are not all there is to forms but, though I will never, at 67, do what she can, she still inspires. I also would not want to meet her in a dark alley! :)

  • very skilled, yet very sad that the crowd lives for jumps and balance acts like dogs for table scraps. much better to watch muted

  • @sleepingmonkeys Wtf? They're not "living for the jumps and balance acts" they're cheering her on and praising her. "Hao" means good in Mandarin, and its almost a tradition in all wushu performances for the crowd to cheer on the competitor by saying that when ever he/she does something difficult and does it well.

  • Please don't use f. I was overly harsh in my comments. I apologize. All I was suggesting was that the crowd was more interested in the acrobatic aspects, so they aren't praising the alignment and coordination. This kind of competition does little to increase the efficiency and growth of her Taiji skill. After a second watch, her lower spine is out of alignment, but she is skilled and this was enjoyable to watch. Be well

  • fantastic performance - would like to do this style of tai chi as seems to have everything!

  • Taiji? Beautiful performance.

If this is taiji, not really appreciated

  • Amazing.

  • this guy is cute and kowaiyoudato omou

i fucking hate taichi envolve wushu system.

    fukkkkup

  • Amazing, extreemly impresive, power & strenght in her legs are amazing. WOW.

  • Superbe démonstration...merci...

  • you guys are funny. this is a competition routine. every year they change the fundamental movements. that way it is fair for everyone. if it was the same form every year then the same people would win every time. the routine contains elements of different styles. the flare that you see is just for competition--it makes it more difficult and weeds out the bone heads like you guys.

  • @thirdtuck, Can you do this? Like her?

  • Molto bello.

  • We need to confirm with Master Chen Zhenglei if this is really taiqi.

It is acrobat and wushu more than anything else, especially the crouching posture towards the end of her routine.

  • Well, maybe he doesn't like it, but you have to remember, this kind of competition form is just one aspect of the athlete's training. She'll almost certainly know a range of traditional Yang and Chen forms to very high level - and you might find he really, really likes her Chen taiji. She might even have trained with him - I bet she has. Remember - people of this level can do both modern and trad - it's the people of lesser level who often can't do either, who criticise this stuff most vocally.

  • Frankly speaking this clip girl is VERY very good, the only reason you won't agree it is cos you don't know Taichi.

However in my HUMBLE opinion the Chinese girl 崔文娟 is better. Again the only possible you won't agree this is you never saw 崔's performance or you don't know shit about TAichi.

  • If you knew any taichi, you would not use langauge as you did. It is a slow, controlled flow of chi, heart, mind and motion and you apparently have no such command!

  • The ORIGINAL Taiji form was passed down to Chen by his father. At that point, it was a full blown martial art, used for combat. But Chen wanted the chinese people to be healthy, so he taught the taiji form as an exercise (that is suitable for all ages). He did so by removing the fast punches and leaping kicks that may not be suitable for older citizens.. And that is the taiji we know today..

So it's ridiculous saying her taiji isn't "traditional" just because she added a little flare.

  • Gyönyörü :)

  • Comment removed

  • Loved it. What form is that?

  • OSU

  • 5 stars

  • dochira nihon kara desu ka?

  • To all you fags out there talking shit about how this is fake taiji and just useless wushu you could practice the rest of your life and be lucky to ever be only about 1/4 at best as good as Ai Miyoaka, what's wrong if people want to see a little flare along with great taiji and by the way all of these moves are good in real life, her flexibility and grace and strength annihilate the traditional crap that you believe is soo authentic. I smell what you layed and it's a bunch of jealous bullshit!!

  • Have to say I agree with you.

  • Hontoo ni utsukushii onna des yo.

Beautiful girl, really enchanting. Lovely to watch her. Brava.

  • ok.... good acrobatic show, but fajing all missing and the form was just for performance i guess....

good performance though, just not real taichi....

  • naww she's too slow, saw the other woman?

  • AWESOME!!!

  • she has much explosive energy that would probably be used best in another martial art.

And she is quite a show-off.

  • different type. she's doing a good job, an excellent job.

  • you think? She lacks good flow.

And has some problem with form, but she is not bad. I just think she would be better at something else.

  • it's Japanese style. so..... yep.

  • Hahahaha! well I guess we are, or where show-offs, so it's to be expected. I'm Japapnese and I don't think it's that great.

  • LOL! What kind of martial art do you practice?

  • I'm okinawan, so karate is kind of a staple.

I also love aikido, but I think all lot of schools are teaching unnecessary crap about spiritual mumbo-jumbo that is usless.

I would like to see more martial arts schools take on a more realistic approach than teaching us things like, "it is ki that allowed me to this" or "ki that allowed me to do that".

I am a first dan in aikido, and I can tell you that

your strength has nothing to do with ki.

    anyway, I'm rambling.

  • I practice Tai-Chi and various other Chinese martial arts.

Here's a good link for your reference.

youtube user Hephaestus (can't post real link )

  • how do you look up usernames?

  • abaya18 for example, on the upper right corner next to the subscribe button. Click on that. After, change abaya18 to you desired user name.

  • change it in the internet address text box in your browser.

  • Can you point out a better male or female performance that is technically as challenging and in her same age group on youtube? or any other website? If not I suggest you keep your baseless opinions to yourself. What constitutes good form? Where are her mistakes? There are really obviously a lot of jealous haters out there. Chill out and practice more maybe people will badmouth you too.

  • @TexasSizzle, She is perfect, what idiot could say anything about her technique? She is amazing, I have yet seen any Tai Chi men look as great as she does.

  • oh cmon, this cant be taiji...all the jumpy-jumpy stuff sucks. she's just showing off what a great athlet she is. but theres no elegance, no passion, no pureness to her movements

  • I can do taiji dishwashing.

  • Is she a dish or what, you are so atable, is your name by change YUM, YUM.

    Beauiful Tai Chi

  • This is a competition form comprising lots of Chen style postures from old frame and new frame and cannon fist old/ and new. It is Taiji , as long as the principle are followed it is taiji. However a lot of the movements would be unwise to use in combat hence being for competition.

  • This is Not tiji quan! is tiji Dance, very nice to watch, I give her that. But call this is tai chi.....!

  • Damn! I'd marry this girl but it's too late hehehehe.

But Joking aside, this is obviously not traditional. But I have to give her kudos for her balance, flow and for being a girl who's willing to spend time and energy in CMA.

  • Amazing..

  • I definitely recognize some traditional Tai Chi moves, executed maybe with some variant style. Whatever it was, that was really cool, awesome to watch.

  • Showmanship is what it is. She took tai chi and just jazzed it up, like with that spinning kick move where she does a 360 and lands in a hurdler stretch position. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't find that in any kind of Tai Chi, or any kind of any other martial art. It's showmanship.

  • Even before the hop-hop-flip-kicks her moves took my breath away. But no, the acrobatics are not traditional at all. :) Still, it was a honoring tribute to Tai Chi I think. :)

  • @emptyna

  • It's not traditional that's for sure but dam she looked good doing it. I think I am in Love

  • Increase your grace and skill.

    kungfu.f-sw . com

  • This is modern Wushu. Modern Taiji Quan. Wow... this is PERFECT! I loved it!

  • wow....2:13-2:19

    dat was awesome

    try doin it

    its harder than it looks

  • please stop calling this traditional, 'cause it's not! this form is a variant from modern chinese martial arts. i mean it: this is not tradicional tai chi chuan!

  • what?

  • Its Taiji. This is Chan style. Do your homework first khlun.

  • chan style never heard of it...

  • It may be a minor traditional style. This video is in a contemporary regulated competition class of small population styles.

  • He probably meant Chen style, which it is not, although form uses some movements from Chen style.

As for Chan style - there is such, earlier known as Dabeiquan, but because of taijiquan popularity, took the name of Chan style taijiquan lately. Chan means the school of Buddhism, which in japanese is called Zen.

  • But of course this is not Chan style, but modern wushu variant of taijiquan.

  • This is not any traditional style. This is modern sports-competition taijiquan, the variant which the chinese sports wushu authorities are presently promoting. Forms are freely arranged, using elements coming from various taijiquan styles plus acrobatic elements. Find some clips from taijiquan division at modern wushu championships to see more of this stuff.

  • yea i know thats why i questioned it

  • What style is this? Looks like some parts of yang-style (24?) combined with something else? She is definitley a beauty and knows her body. Wow!

  • It is taiji, wushu, ballet and morden dance together - a hybrid form.

  • Nice to look at yet it is form only. Not real taiji. This is most unfortunate if people think this is taiji.

  • very well done, very nice

Beautiful!! I wish I could do the same:)

Does she teaches? thanks for video anyway:)

  • wow talk about flexbilty

  • Well done
