  • well, as you said its poorly dubbed and I find it very annoying for that reason, I always prefer original versions, especially for a movie like Slapshot. By the way, I'm a Quebecer too.

  • Au contraire, c'est LE film le mieux traduit que j'ai jamais vu, meilleur que l'originalou sa version française de France, et la grande majorité des québécois sont de cet avis, ça rend ce film HILARANT! Tous les mots, les expressions etc., sont pafaits, car c'est aussi notre sport.

  • Listen my little red neck buddy. I saw this in both languages, it is a good classic movie regardless, grow up and stop being so ignorent. Canada is big enough for everyboby. See had you paid attention in your French classes like I did in my English ones, you could understand what they are saying, and you would actually fing it hillarious.

  • there's a Huge difference between the french of France and the French of Quebec...and Slap shot was dubbed in a quebec French,by the way i'Ve seen it both in english and in French and it's one of the few movies that's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better in french than in english.
