  • this is scary

  • I think she was tripping on LSD.

  • i think these comments are a little stereotypical, just because someone "hears voices" doesnt mean theyre gonna kill someone or anything that drastic. and besides, those "voices" are just a persons way of thinking, they drive themselves to think those things. its just a repititious thought until it becomes a belief. like "show me all the blueprints"

  • I am schitzophrenic. Dont call me names. Those people are real. They don't tell me to do things. They just sit there, they mock me. They make me depressed. But I am not a freak. I bet, if you met me, you wouldn't even know. And, do you want to know something else about me? I hear babies cry, tortured. No joke. Think about that, if you had to live like that.
  • @MoonSongStormChild1 do u see ghost? (no sarcasm intended)

  • LOL omg i shit myself! i didnt realise it was a music video

  • When we'll be all schizophrenic peoples, without any pain, we will all be pacifist.

The United States government has approved Risperdal for the treatment of bi-polar disorder in children.

    NY Times

  • this woman isnt schizo i would go crazy too if a couple of scary looking docs were starring at me. nice vid though.

  • stupid clip

  • Hahaha, the ending is really bad...why didn't you give her a candy to eat??? That's so fake.

  • Looks like an Aphex Twin video. Rubber Johnny comes to mind.

  • @1:11 why does she turn into the corner...what do you think she is thinking? What could possibly be going on in her head?

    Is he breaking down?

  • esquizofrenia desorganizada:...hebefrénica,paranoide,catatónica...

  • This reminds me a lot of Aphex Twin. I like it though.

  • yes videos can bring on episodes. idiot.

  • I went and bought a pregnancy test after watching Unborn, even though I'd never done anything. You are right. Things actually got worse from there, I think that was one of the turning points.

  • well done! but what did she eat at the end? a bug? eww.

  • JEEEEEEEEZO that first part scared the living shit out of me

  • Jesus this sure scared me.

  • Thank you for making the rest of my night suck... you should put some warning in the start of the movie. I am a schizofrenic, and i couldn't watch it without almost having a psychotic attack. So with all due respect, fuck you.

  • Even though it is written right there you cannot even manage to spell schizophrenic and if you had it you would realise schizophrenic episodes can not be induced, especially by watching things on youtube.

  • Wow, you attack my spelling - thank you, however english isnt my first language. And it CAN induce psychotic attacks, if the schizophrenic has voices and dellusions. You may want to actually talk to a person with the diagnose.

  • Comment removed

  • I've been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia for a number of years. I have never seen any evidence in medical journals, personal experiences or relayed from others to indicate an episode can be induced other than slightly from stress or possibly drugs. I've never seen any evidence or even suggestibility that a mere video can induce an almost randomized impacting illness.

  • Well those who are genetically predisposed to it can have it triggered by trauma or drugs, but it won't give it to you if you wouldn't have developed it anyway.

  • Also English being your secondary language has no basis when as stated "the word is right there in the title".

  • the visual sequences are more reminiscent of types of epilepsy - schizophrenia is the most incorrectly diagnosed condition on earth - the symptoms are identical to those of heat stroke and epilepsy caused by white matter strokes - its a diagnosis that can only be made AFTER a brain scan has eliminated 'organic brain conditions', but hey, who bothers wasting money on giving 'nutters' brain scans in the NHS?

  • several times i had an episode of dellusions and horrible HORRIBLE HORRRRRIBLE feelings of impending doom...... it was bad man....if you can imagine i saw the devil in my room...and im not even christain....shit...it was BAAAAAAADDDD dude...horrible...

  • Research more. You have no idea what you're talking about. The symptoms for Schizophrenia and Manic Depression are not the same. Schizophrenia doesn't stop. Some people are very lucky and find that it goes away, or gets better, but this is rare.

Seriously. I can't even think of anything else to say to you because your argument was so stupid and COMPLETELY lacking backup and evidence.

    Learn the facts.

  • You are soooooo wrong and you dont even know it. Search it and see what schizophrenia is like. This video comes close to it than your above lines do.

  • Wow, you're really ignorant. Schizophrenia is a real illness, just as real as cancer or even (dare i say?) the swine flu. I should know. Im a fucking schizophrenic!!! The symptoms are more real than you can imagine. You dont know what its like to have it so you better stfu about it being fake..... =(

  • What are the syptoms and what is the Illness in general?

  • Altered perception of reality.

They really haven't found a single cause for it.

  • Delusions, hallucinations (usually auditory ie hearing voices), and improper emotional responses (laughing at the news of someone's death). Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head, there might be some more. Schizophrenia also is not an illness but a group of illnesses, each with their own unique symptoms or expression of the main symptoms listed above.

  • another symptom is bad hygene (she ate a bug) disorginized speech, that's all i can think of.

  • Well done, this is wat it feels like, for a girl

  • and it's a completely different experience for a male, i take it. lol

  • Schizophrenia sufferers are isolated because their perception is warped to such a degree, society refuses to accept what is completely real for these people.

I have a diagnosis of 'paranoid schizophrenia' (though I do not like to associate myself with an 'illness'), and I can assure you what I experience is completely genuine in my eyes.

Schizophrenia is not a fake illness.

    Schizophrenia is a widened understanding.

You're wrong, though who am I to say what is real, and what's untrue?

  • What if you've been delusional your entire life when you look back? What if it just wasn't known until you reacted for once, so now u question everything? What if you forget you see things or think it's real or that you're special or because God hated you, so you needed to be more religious secretly? or you thought you were asleep and just then realize it for what it is, or you forget it? You've wasted your entire life in a dream! It makes u a hypochondriac. What is? What isn't?

  • Your questions are alarmingly frequent.

  • What was your very first and earliest symptoms of having schizophrenia. Im just curious.....like the earliest symptoms.......also........i feel bad for people that have this......dont lose hope......things will get better with time.....just stay motivated and dont look back.....

  • the laws of physics dictate what is generally accepted as real. sounds come from vibrations in the air-- if you actually hear sounds in your mind that aren't products of external stimulants (waves in the air) then you have an impairment. seeing delusions and mixing up dreams with reality certainly isn't "widened understanding".

  • @BigOlderBrother That's an Excellent Observation.

  • 0.50 scared

  • Watching this while listening to Aphex Twin "Come To Daddy" makes it even better

  • hey that was really cool!

  • What is the point of this film?

  • Obviously to make the creator feel "twiztid"

    fucking retarded vid...

  • I think its like screen flashing for epileptic people,

The doctors gets to be in this film as sadistic bastards because this is the way psychiatry treats it patients in the end creating this sorts of bad trips for people, there are way out and to heal from this thing, even from such bad trips,

Psychiatry = Badong. Bad and Wrong...

Like killing is Badong (taken from a parody film named kung pow)

  • absolutely..that kind of situation really does make it so intense for schizophrenics..nothing good can come out of that..bad trip written all over it...just think about going into a hospital on acid...BAD

  • Very describing, but I can't help but wonder why those doctors had masks on.. it's not like it's contagious. I'm schizophrenic by the way......

  • i have schizophrenia. its like this, but they way overexadgerated it

  • Are the effects of the deleriant Diphenhydramine close to the symptoms of schizophrenia? Like complex delerium, creating situations that aren't really happening.

  • more like scopolamine or bupropion combined with dextromethorphan

  • I rather enjoyed that, attractive woman, realistic uniforms/clothing, good music, the only flaw i spotted was the walls of her cell wearnt padded, to provent her cracking her head off the wall if she were to fall

  • Wheres Dr Killjoy when you need him?

  • So much of this kind of work has already been done ad nauseam in music videos and other over sensationalized pop culture mediums.

  • thats creepy

  • The way in which the doctors (when seen in the standard way) are wearing masks makes me feel quite uncomfortable; like they're trying to avoid catching something. Looking at the rest of the comments, sounds as though this is a pretty accurate interpretation. Intriguing stuff.

  • Putting people in insane asylums just makes them worse than they were before.

  • i know right?! i feel so bad for the people that were sent to asylums... it's a horrible ending.

  • Big statement... I always throught The idea of "putting people in insane asylums" was because they were not coping with society and they were admitted and underwent treatment until they were stable enough to join the outside world again..obviously some stay longer than others depending on their individual needs so i have to disagree with your comment MooooonDemon

  • i absolutely agree.

  • @MooooonDemon

So what do you propose instead?

We just let all the loonys run around and kill people because a voice in their head told them to?

Not everybody that is institutionalized should be but there are people that are dangerous and should not be out walking around in society

  • @cheezmo722

No, you leave them with their families.

And it's a shame that you call them "loonys" it just shows what kind of person you are.

  • @MooooonDemon

what about the ones with no family or family that just dont care?

If you had kids and moved into a new neighborhood, would you trust your the family next door to make sure their paranoid schizophrenic family member doesn't attack your kids? i wound't leave it to chance

maybe my wording was a little harsh. i don't mean all people with mental disorders, just ones crazy enough to listen to those voices. Were better off letting mental health proffesionals deal with it.

  • @cheezmo722

    I've heard voices before

that doesn't mean I'm going to kill people.

    I've never hurt anyone before.

and yes, I would trust a paranoid schizophrenic to move into my neighborhood |:

  • @MooooonDemon it does, thats why doctors dont like to anymore. Usaully its for their or other people's safety

  • @MooooonDemon so do prisons, how do you suppose we go about that?

  • @MooooonDemon Exactly.

  • i want that song.

  • i dunno about this at all

  • My mother is schizophrenic and thats exactly how she acts.

    Amazing work.

  • dude she was hot.

  • that was cool...sadly true...i mean in ways that Schizophrenics think and how they sometimes see things and such

  • guy who made this is my old neighbour

  • I love it. Give me more!

  • not related to what i was searching but i was pleasantly surprised none the less.

  • Good Lord!

This is sexual predator Martin Demers sister from Drummond Québec. She has been sexually harassed by Martin during her youth. No wonder she is insane...

  • poor girl yeah even in the insane asylums the doctors sometimes rape the patients in the metal hospital ,i know because my grandma took in mental patients and treated them as if they were her children i know kinda dangerous and weird but they had nowhere else to go the got kicked out because of too many patients there so yeah my grandma knows what goes on in that hellhole they call a place to help the mental patients those poor souls anyways sorry for scaring you if i did ,thanks

  • that's was scary!! o__0

  • Pip darling. you blow my mind. i'm speachless

  • I'm going to go ahead and guess that whomever the maker if this little film is, saw "Rubber Johnny" and tried to build their own, shorter, version. Just a guess, though.

  • interesting perspective

  • Wow TJ! I was just telling a director friend about the time when i had to be schizophrenic...and i found your film on here! Ha and look at all the responses! Great! That was a fun day of filming.... Hope the other film turned out ok? The one where i was blowing bubbles and getting beaten up

  • you're pretty

  • Sylvain Viger the Cyberwing is a also Schizphrenic not cared by doctor & psychiatrist in his Saint-Michel Quarter in Montreal.

    He needs help sooner.

    He has psychotic episode sometime.

Pills could make his better man._

  • schizophrenia pushed me to the point of being homeless for about a year, now my parents take are of me. Make a jolt shit could have run through the mime pulse beat stud button lips stapled to the ground, no one can hear you speaking under your bread, broken breath.

  • distressed 7 is acting like hes the second messiah or something, hes slightly annoying.

  • Then why dont you challange what hes saying. If you disagree, that is.

  • What we have is learning center of the psychotic as opposed to the neurotic. The schizophrenic is at time a reaction to both. It refuses to endanger others, it refuses to stifle itself, it just goes somewhere else. It is where that somewhere else the battered science of Psychology desires to explore. Its exploration encompasses Religion, disciplines, Biology, Theologies, criminal behavior, Chemistry and the human as limitless.

  • No prob. I qualify for some of them. But thanks for the apology, it is rare to get them nowadays.

  • I concede. You make a point well put. However, you are not far from my position. It is a position of great concern. It has to be. Remember, Equus?(Richard Burton) I think that is how you spell it. But, there are those among the deranged who are far from deranged. We struggle, they see.

  • Why? What is dumb? What is nomal? What is good? What is evil? Are you normal? Am I? Based on what? Maybe if you kept asking "dumb" question you'd leave the "paradise" of your ego, value your id, and find out that your super-ego is a tyrant.

  • It was a powerful film.

  • Doctors choose to call her a Schizophrenic Patient, truth is she's demon possessed.

  • This man speaks the truth.

  • have you ever heard of people with extra sensory perception??? Chances are more likely that she is more sensitive to the spirit world and can see the demons who are in others!!! I think that schizophrenia is when someone can't escape seeing the spiritual world most of the time as oppossed to people who sense the spirits a little and claim that certain places are haunted and then you have people that don't sense anything.

  • yes, the physical world is just a mere part of the show-schizophrenics are confronted with this fact-yet have difficulty escaping it.

  • Schizophrenia is most likely a result of your brain interpreting it's own thoughts as stimuli from the outside world, thus creating lifelike hallucinations in a vicious circle. This is due to a defective self-monitoring system in the brain, or the 'feed-forward model'. Why? We don't know... Probably genetic.

  • It is a firestorm of violent exchanges, ball lightning, tornadoes and hurricanes between the ears. Sometimes under close scrutiny the insights are of the "divine". A tremendous amount of power is generated in a schizophrenic state, and the reality conceived is beyond the dualities of the functional lunatic fringe we exist in, as functional schizophrenics.

  • Finally someone who understands

  • I work in a state hospital with individuals with extremely severe schizophrenia. I see people act like this woman and even more psychotic and violent. This video is fantastic. It provides a sense of compassion of what the individual could be feeling when approached by several staff.

  • thats a great compliment, thanks very much

  • Is it true schizophrenics give love more openly in some ways? Could it be they see this world in a more intense way than others comprehend it? Could they be like canaries in the mine? Prophetic even?

  • @Xokkeikatt I am not sure how many of them are rreally compassionate. All I can see people being rejected ..

  • fix the sync and I might give it 6 stars instead of 5

  • Amazing is all that comes to mind. When i first watched it gave me chills. It's beautiful.

  • Absolute class.

    Better than Shakespeare.

  • Personally I liked it, not sure why psychologists are wearing surgeon masks or just staring at her but it gave you perfect understanding theyre in a hospital. as for "a little research on the subject" you displayed a visual hallucination something some schizophrenics have (p.s I'm schizophrenic n quite pleased with your work)

  • you make me sick. i like the film though. nice work.

  • I thought it was very enjoyable if a little dark. I feel their is room for development and a little research on the subject

  • short music film i made in new york - music/sound is a little out of sync... dunno why..
