Paul Simonon, bassist of the legendary British punk band The Clash stated on several occasions that "I want to be Pete Townshend, the bloke who throws his arms up and down" though he didnt move that much, he definitely didnt stand still like John.
I love the Who, they're just amazing. out of all the 60s British bands, they're my favorite. Their music is harder than the Beatles (but i still love them too), I could never get into the Rolling Stones, Cream, the Kinks, or the Jeff Beck group. Zeppelin is a little too folky (but i still love them too), and i just like their tunes better than Sabbath (but after the Who, Sabbath is the best).
Keith Moon, was a very sloppy drummer, and on interveiw Pete said "If it wheren't for John, we wouldn't know where we where" and he admitted to how off beat he was. HE IS THE 2ND BEST DRUMMER EVER! honestley, the passion wins it all
@aliaksandrrojas it doesn't matter. The greatest drummer of all time had ruined himself at this point. He was no better than his replacements would be. It's sad. If you want to see him in action, watch their performance at The Isle of Wight, 1970. Peace.
its so fitting tht the performances of this and wont get fooled are on here since this was keith's last performance and it looks like thts the most fun they've had in a while
how do you not know that that is keith moon.

Keith was the drummer untill '78 when he died. Kenny Jones played for them in the 80's. Zac Starkey joined in 1996.
