I just ran into this video and want to ask a question. I use FLSim 2004, because I don't quite like 2010. I'm trying to move over into other aviation games. Also, I'VE NEVER, EVER, been able to figure out how to use fligh sim 2004 networking with my other computers at home to play with my daughter. Can anyone please take just two minutes, assume I'm a total fool, and explain how to use the network STEP BY STEP? Since 2004 I never used it, all explanations are short leaving me lots of guessing.

1st problem... your going down WAYYY to fast. close to minimum speed it ideal, and 2nd, your supposed to go down with the tail end parallel to the ground and slowly bring the tail down, and 3rd, .... your supposed to land with the front wheel one feet into the runway, seemed to me like you landed nearly halfway through

@MasterStanko When you get close to the carrier click 2 to bring down landing gear and when your flying towards the runway on the carrier brake and land smoothly. If you land to rough (for instance, if you dive to the runway instead of gently touching down) you wont make it. Once you land on the runway hold the nunchuck stick back and you will slowly stop. keep pulling back on the nunchuck stick until it says "mission complete!" on the side of the screen.

@MasterStanko if you have it on x box 360 i can help before landing lower the landing gear by pressing left bumper the about 150 yards out hold back on the right analogue then just line up and touch down softly but never let go of the of the analogue it should just come to a halt

I GOT IT!!!! I detached my joystick, and did it with keyboard.. it will work, when you press (S) and if the flaps are down.... they should come down when s is pressed... by the way.. watch out that the plane wont flip on the deck..

You have to begin the minimum speed and touch down ASAP, it slows you down a bunch. And to win, you have to park behind the bridge; it shields you and its the only way to end the level.

yeah just that when i have to take photos of the 3 camps i see no green bars or anything i flew around for about 30mins listening to the same german lines over and over again it just gets me

After you fly to shore you enter the storm.

Then the bars appear in the left bottom of your screen.

Try to get the right bar as high as possible and keep flying in that direction. The left bar is showing your progress towards your target.

When both bars are at the highest, the enemy base will appear and you can select to view it.

i got ace rating in that mission, it isn't that hard. there ain't no cables in the carrier so you just have to get far from the carrier and get the throttle down, land as soon as you reach the carrier and you'll get it.
