@DoomCity202 Okay, you are obviously a lot smarter than I originally anticipated, but it's not like rock and roll doesn't have it's negative influences Mick Jager, Sid Vicious and I could go on. Why then does gangster rap always get the bad press?. I mean I think it's more likely gang violence influenced gangster rap and not really the other way around. Lots of Notorious BIG's songs have very positive messages, Juicy is a song that comes to mind.

@Ultimos604 true but thats jumping on the "everyone else is doing it" ...Hip hop is responsible and like i said we cant argue that shit in hindsight..now even if you say it isnt responsible for the bad...its obvious they laid off the enlightening nurturing type shit to the point it sounds foreign to most people ears now and gets put in the wack or back packer category and called underground with waaaay less promotion.
