@Strelnikov10 People go overboard on the Magpul stuff, for sure. No slight against Magpul intended (another fine American company) but the true beauty of the AR platform is the ability to create something unique. You don't do that by getting one each of everything from the same supplier.

I haven't had any problems with PSA and contact them frequently. i have used several of their parts they offer. I have also found in my experience of ordering out of state parts for my weapons, whenever somebody ships UPS and you are notified that a label is created and then ups gives you an estimated delivery date. that is UPS giving you a delivery date when they haven't even picked up the product, not the shipper. If your experience were as good as all of mine you would bee a happy camper

I made an order to PSA for a 20" upper and have been waiting for over a week now. Ill go back to ordering from BCM from now. Free hat and great customer service. Milspec uppers.

Same thing happened to me. I got 5 different stories from 5 different employees. One actually said the other was lying to me. Frustrated the heck out of me. They didn't even offer a free hat or anything. I would wait to order from Palmetto until they pull their heads out.

Thnx for the reply and the website. I've been in search for the right sling mount for some time now. I had the magpul ASAP, but ended up returning it. It was too noisy for my liking. Does the blackhawk allow the stock to fully close? Funny you mentioned the flag... Cause thats what sold me in wanting to get the tacstrap. I guess little details like that catch the consumers attention.

@nikkawut My stock closes completely, but I have heard that some stocks don't with that plate. The other benefit of this plate over the ASAP is that it has the correct attachment for HK hooks, which have the potential to accidentally release if you use an attachment point that's too thin. Check out /watch?v=8l69zIsdHxs for an example. The HK hooks on my Tacstrap do rub against the finish on my rifle, though. If you're worried about keeping it pretty, you might want to keep that in mind.

Im wanting to go with the tacstrap as well. What type of sling plate are using and where did you get it?

@nikkawut I am using a Blackhawk ambi sling plate, which I believe came from Botach Tactical. I'm pleased as heck with the Tacstrap, but I've pretty much decided that single-point is overrated. I'm running it as a 2-point sling all of the time, but I'm glad I have the option. The Magpul sling gives that option as well, but the tacstrap is nice and wide, which makes it very comfortable. And of course the flag patch is very cool.

@TexasDistortion The feedback I hear about them on Arfcom is generally good. However, I'm only able to give my own experience, which was beyond bad. I can forgive an error, but this was a chain of blunders for which they offered only excuses.

@Eslamizar Del-Ton is running a labor day special, and their uppers are actually cheaper than PSA right now. They do say to allow 1-2 weeks for shipping, but that's still less than I got out of PSA. :p
