If you love the smell of Flowerbomb but not the price, a great alternative is Bijan's B exquisite, it smells identical to V&R. Of course results may vary from person to person, but it's so inexpensive it's worth a try.

I've been interested in this one, thanks for the review! Since EDPs have a higher concentration of volatile oils than EDTs, make sure you protect your investment by storing it in a cool, dry place (I, personally, like a mini fridge). That way, light and heat (which are two of the biggest enemies of volatile oils, the third being oxygen) cannot break the perfume down into a rancid, short wearing mess. :-) It also makes it super refreshing when spraying on :-) Thanks again!

i love this perfume. i agree it's very pricey for what it is. Also it's not very floral but it is sweet. I think the vanilla smell must be from the type of orchid they use. I'm no plant expert but vanilla is a type of orchid. So I think that's where that sweet scent comes from.

I absolutely Love Love Love this perfume and finished my 50ml bottle in 2 months. I was told by the sales assistant that the Eau De Toilette has a much better smell than the Perfume and I agree as I stood around sniffing the 2 of them for ages before making up my mind. Because of this fact you'll be able to purchase it much cheaper. I think now is probably the best time to try and get a gift set from Christmas if you can - also just to add this is no ordinary flowery perfume it really has that

For me, this perfume smells very flowery but within the three hour mark, the base notes come in and it smells more musky and oriental. I've had in on for eight hours today and the smell hasn't faded away much. It's definitely a long-wearing perfume and I really recommend it for colder weather because it does make you feel warm and cozy while wearing it :)

I have bought this perfume this summer, after trying a sample... and I felt in love with it!! I am not a perfume-consumer but I had to have it! I am totally agree with you: I don't smell roses or "flowers", I only smell a sweet scent, like vanilla. Here in Italy, it costs 63euros for the 1 Fl Oz bottle, it's so expensive, but fortunally I found that sephora had the special box perfume+ body cream for 40euros.

I love this product...I've been wearing it since '07 when it was only available in stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale and Saks and when they only had 2 size...It's my go to winter scent. Quick tip: it smells heavenly when paired with Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Soufflé body crème. Ever time I wear them together I get stopped a million times asking me what I have on....Good Review...glad that they lower the price as well, I can stock up during the holiday time:)

Have you tried Estee Lauders Beautiful? I have worn it forever and always have a bottle. This one sounds similar and wondered if you had tried them both? The thing I love about Beautiful that I love is its staying power that many favorite high end parfums that I own lack. I can pull out a coat the next year and still smell hints of it! It sounds nice.....it gets overwhelming at the parfum counter sometimes....will definitely look for it!

Drrrrrrrr flowerbomb...granade...I can't believe I didn't make that connection for a while! Lol I was like oh cool its a granade shape, that's interesting for being so feminine and then I'm like "oh.. duh". Lol! I'm a little slow. And burgomot is what's primarily flavorful and scented in Earl Grey tea :) my fave hot tea. I didn't even realize it when I smell that but now I totally see(or smell) it!

I love this perfume. My father gift it to my mother the year it came out and since then I completely fell in love with it! I especially love the fact that it's very soft and it does stay on me for a long time. Even though this perfume is not like those loud ones where you can smell it a block away, it does stand out when you wear it. :)

Good advice, I sprayed my wrist at the store and by the time I got home had a monster headache and had to shower it off. If the smell lasts all day it's strong! Guess that's partly why it's so expensive? Haven't smelled this one yet.

my aunts all love this perfume haha :) but my favorite is RALPH Ralph Lauren and the rolllerball for that was $22. now the 1 oz. size is $30, which tells me that flowerbomb is totally killing you on the full size as opposed to killing you on the travel size. i think flowerbomb has very intricate packaging which is what causes it to cost way more. the ralph perfume has very simple packaging and is much cheaper, so if you were going to buy this perfum i'd suggest the rollerball, its better value.

You described this scent perfectly. It smells the same way on me and lasts all day. The best way to purchase this perfume is when they have the gift set available. I got my set at nordstrom for $110 and it came with the 1.7 oz. eau de parfume, lotion, shower gel, and a beautiful refillable bottle bedazzled with pink stones along with a small travel size grenade (really cute). PLUS...the lady at the counter filled my refillable bottle for FREE. I got a great deal.
