  • Good stuff... thank you.

  • Good tutorial, but you need to pay attention where your guitar is to the relationship to camera.

  • @koenigturbo - yes, you are very right - the angle is quite bad - sorry - and thanks very much for watching and your comment. i might do it again. cheers

  • hey, man! that's really useful! from now on, when i take the risk in playing this i'm sure it'll sound much better! thank load from Brazil!

  • RECONTRAMUCHAS GRACIAS, ¡NOSABES CUÁNTO ME HAS AYUDADO! FELICITACIONES Y BUENOS DESEOS.

  • Thanks for posting this. Although I am playing this acoustically , I found this really useful. The version I am aiming for is Greg's awesome live performance posted by greenhazel351. Here he dampens the bass strings with his right hand...quiute tricky to master. Thanks again.

  • accurate and helpful ! thanks for your time and energy !

  • @RODRIVILLANUEVA - thank you, my friend! glad to hear that.

  • Ponderous!

  • Thanks for the tutorial got me going on it real quick!

  • sounds just great!! I play a baratone ukulele and would love to have any sheet music-not tabs- plus lyrics that you may be able to send me. Aloha

  • thanks so much you for a very "clear", accurate lesson! it sure helps!! you should charge for this!

  • One more thing. It is a rare soul indeed who'll return a digestible objection to your efforts blugzor. Keep a thick skin. Most of them don't know what they're pounding about on their CRTs. Thanx again for the tutorial. Good job!

  • Okay, so maybe I was talking to the damn axe. Sorry for the misident.

  • Hey, thanks Brian. Entertaining rendition. One thing my ear disagrees with, though, is your first chord with the A (no 3rd). Noticing you play up around fret 11. I play it with the A on fret 7 and the C on fret 5 using the flatted 3rd while omittting it with the open B, strum-stopping, other strings open, right after the G bends. Try it. I like it. Never checked out the tab or anything, Just prob'ly did as you. Your version is almost as appealing. They probably would sound outrageous together.

  • How many hours at the factory did your wife have to work to buy you that guitar?

  • Very very close to the original but we don't see the top of the neck.

Very beautiful guitar sound. What guitar is this ?

    Thanks for posting

  • @blugzor - thanks for your kind comment. The guitar is Brian Moore with piezzo pickup. yeah, sorry my camera wasn't set properly. of course, the sound is very different from GL but my point was that the chords and position are very similar to the original - he plays the beginning differently (12th position) but the notes I do are the same - just a different position but the chords I guarantee are the same

    Thanks again, my friend!

  • you started out by saying that the other covers you've seen on youtube are not very accurate and you feel yours is 99% accurate but I have to disagree with you my friend, I appreciate the fact that you took the time to post this video but I also feel that although your version is good it is not 99% accurate and you could stand to possibly learn a thing or two from watching other guitarist play their version of this song ...again this is only my opinion and I mean no disrespect towards you

  • ... the end was cool too.

  • Ego aside, if he does exactly what you're doing, it should sound exactly like it shouldn't it? No offense intended, 'but there it is....' Thanks for the lesson just the same.

  • @alloutofdonuts - absolutely true - of course, I play the song differently- first, I play with fingers GL plays with a pick - then totally different guitars - mine is electric - his is accoustic- he plays intro differently too, but I play the same notes. What I meant that I'm doing more or less exactly what GL does that I play chords and their positions the way GL does. Thanks for watching and your comment!!!

  • nice...but you didnt play the middle part....." you see its all clear........"

  • ACCURATE MY ASS!

  • I like what you're doing but you should go just a bit slower in explaining what you're doing. Also, your voice sounds a bit muffled. My turning my volume on my computer only makes you sound worse, Perhaps you should have checked the mic strength before you began recording. Otherwise I like what you're doing!!

  • @CH0C0LATEFIRE Who asked you

  • tanx for the lesson. very good.

  • @driger888 -happy if it helped. Rock on!

  • no idea, sir.

  • capo capo
