I remember when I was younger decorating my own flat stanley as a school project: The student mails their "flat stanley" to either someone they know or someone famous with a letter asking for them to show Stanley around like a tourist, take pictures of him and write a letter in return describing the adventures they went on with Stanley while he "visited" before sending him back
