Pretty easy, I guess. This machine was my first attempt at steaming milk. It took about 1/4 - 1/2 gal of milk before I figured it out; the flavor is about right, but with regard to texture, I haven't figured out how to consistently make microfoam yet. It will come with a little more practice though. It's a fantastic machine; hope that helps.
