This is an awesome intro to rollers video! Despite the timing conflictions in the video, it is still understandable and very informative and descriptive. I think now I know how to gauge which rollers to use for the different lenghts of my hair. I never know what the colors of rollers mean width/inches wise (I buy from different brands), and I would like to ask if you know what brand your rollers are (if they are all from the same brand)?
They are all different brands but its best to buy a full set from one brand. I have a full set by Conair that has multiple sizes and comes with the clips. Got it from Walgreens for 12.99
I plan on getting some magnetic rollers from ebay. Right now I use large self-gripping rollers, cause that's all you can buy in Germany. But I'm not sure if self-gripping are healthy for the hair. My ends are a mess :(
Anyway that ebay shop doesn't have Conair, they have Annie, Diane, and Goody. From the pictures they all look similar to me, and the prices are about similar too.
Would you recommend or not recommend any of these brands?
I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. I plan to try and control that with Nu Gro as well as soon as it gets here. My hair is bra strap length in the back and I don't want to loose that.
Shedding is natural...so I don't even try to control it any more. I used to freak out over any strands that bit the dust. Now I just try not to manipulate my hair too much and get the most time out of my styles so that I'm not doing any excessive pulling or tugging on my hair. Keep your hair moisturized and sleep on silk and your shedding will be to a minimum.
Great Video! I never seen those clips that go right against the roller but definitely gonna get some because I wanna get a set of rollers too. I haven't roller set hair in a long time cause I use hot rollers now but I wanna try it again.
Very good information. Which products would you say attributed to keeping your hair strong and preserving it so it could grow. Also, do you ever have shedding?
We can I get those hair clips that you suggested? I cant find them at sally beauty website. Please reply. thanks

How do you control any shedding you might experience? I only wet set my hair now and flat iron the roots. I just can't get the hair dryer down.

Thanks for sharing the wrap-around-twice rule to help with preventing the roots from being wavy.

Kewl video; I have ear length hair. When I do use rollers I use like the med big (4th size) just for my crown so I have that body there.
