Love this band and absolutely love this song. For other murder ballads, check out the fabulous Nick Cave and the bad seeds. The collaboration with Kylie Minogue was inspired, to say to least on the song, "Where the Wild Roses Grow".
This is legend...there is actually a folk tale about something happening like this in the late 1700's....
